Today's Tids Issue 5.675
Nature Excites:
I get angry. I yell a lot at Microsoft Word. And it bothers me. Am I becoming like the rest of our angry planet?
How tragic was this morning when at 6:46 the CEO of United Health, a young 50-year-old man Brian Thomason, was gunned down outside the Hilton Hotel on 54th Street, not your average crime neighborhood. They are saying he was targeted. And it wasn't random, Targeted or random it is still about humans out of control.
I didn't mean to start this day under a dark cloud but after reading about Brian's murder and stories of people enabling rudeness; seeing actions of mass mayhem by athletes and their fawning fanatics, I'm wondering how America will ever be great again. After all greatness only comes from peo0ple. Can people divided ever find respect for others again?
The Question:

College Basketball and football players used to play well so they could get more playing time, meld well with their teammates as they grew to become a formidable machine over four years. Now they play hard to be seen by a coach from another team... with a big bankroll. I think we are losing something.
Google-Earth gives us the opportunity to go and see anywhere in the world. So, what do we do? We go and look for our own house? We're all so human.
When culturally induced confusion seems drear, there is nothing nicer than standing under the azure crystalline skies of cold December day. And not thinking about one God damn thing, except what the purity of nature brings every day.
The Answer:
In 1873 Chester as a 15-year-old lad was upset that his ice-skating was cut so short because his ears were getting cold. He was allergic to the wool in the ear flap hats normally worn. He rigged up a wire contraption and asked his grandmother to sew in beaver fir (Or flannel -- that is in dispute). And the world got earmuffs! He kept the town employed making earmuffs for 60 years, Chester went on to become an engineer and had over 100 patents included one for the Steel Tooth Rake. Listen to your children.
Why did the amoeba cross the road? It was time to split.
See you all tomorrow, everybody.
