Today's Tids Issue 5,678
Silver Bells did it:
Somehow, I feel it.
Me, an old curmudgeon,
In the spirit.
Is it Santa clause
Or something much bigger;
That makes me pause,
To spread some extra love,
And to realize at last,
It’s better to look forward
Then dwelling on the past,
Which can never be again.
The national news finally caught up with the Syrian take over after the fact. The Tid’s has been reporting it for a week. Assad s gone and in Moscow, But you have ot wonder what Moscow will do with him now that his country may no longer be a strategic asset of theirs. The rebels have said they will protect the two most important Russian Middle East/Mediterranean Military and Navel positions, Tartous sea Port and Hmeimim airbase. But internal Moscow observers say that it is hanging by a thread and those losses there would severely damage Russian power in that area.
Do you have the feeling that our governmental transition might be called the pardon wars.
Is a fired Elf considered a rebel without a claus?
The Question:
I drink my coffee black. But apparently there are dozens of other ways to enjoy or disguise the flavor of coffee, Name the top ten ways people take tier coffee.

One of my favorite movies was Run, Lola Run. The German Director was Tom Tykwer. His last movie was in 2009, a political thriller called “The International” He will be honored this week by teh German Film group which for the first time features a German movie as the Lead feature. It is Tykwer’s “The Light” and suddenly I'm really interested in seeing it.
So, the NY Mets beat out the other NY big bucks' team to sign 26-year-old Juan Soto for fifteen years for about $756 Million. That means when he is 41 and probably a DH and the Mets will be on the hook for about $51 Mil. Unless some other teams step-in with stars in their eyes to fete a fading star. Soto is a good guy and a wonderful batter but not a truly excellent fielder. Theis was a FOMO deal more than anything. In my estimation.
The State of RI coordinating with the city of Providence built a series of small wooden cabin like shelters for the homeless. But the fire Department won't allow them to open because they are unsafe. Hmmm. So, sleeping on the ground and under bridges and in alleys is safe? Where is the DOGE when you need it!
Science reports say 85% of things we worry about never happen. The other fifteen percent are worse than we thought.
Jeez! I am really out of Touch. How can I keep the Tids’ audience current and hip if I haven't even heard of the Golden Globe Movie nominee in ten categories – Emilia Perez. It got a 76% on Rotten Tomatoes. It's described as a “musical crime thriller unabashedly trans”. So, there you have it.
A lot of people are very happy for Daniel Penny. People over the years have become afraid to jump in as a good Samaritan as it may place them in a precarious position with those who find something wrong with doing the right thing.
There is always something special going to an event of any kind and standing up with everybody there to sing our National Anthem. But wow, do I have a bad voice.
The Answer:
