Fickle Faddle:
How many gifts each year get misplaced in piles of wrapping paper thrown away?
“I bought my brother some gift-wrap for Christmas. I took it to the Gift Wrap department and told them to wrap it, but in a different print so he would know when to stop unwrapping.” –Steven Wright
I read something this morning that describes what’s wrong with RI in a nutshell – The new Senate majority leader is a woman whose Main job is President of the NEA Rhode Island (National Education Association) . What more do we need to know.
I’ll tell you what I think. Giving love to people is the greatest gift. I think people tend to like that.

Are e entering a world of temporary relationships all around -- Me taking over form we. Think about it. People change jobs on a whim, College sports use transfer portal which makes kids in school full time free agents. We know the divorce rate is up. Companies dismiss people and people dismiss companies. Fads create industries and changing fads eliminate industries, in a twinkling o of an eye. What are we going to do about it. Is there a solution or are instant communications destined to change the way societies were forever.
Speaking of change, don't you think the DOW has lost its mojo. Is it still relevant in a fast-changing society. Feels to this outsider looking in that they are trying to catch shooting star.
A New Year’s resolution is something that goes in one year and out the other.
The TidsPickers had an off week, and this week could be worse as there are only ten teams fighting for anything. The rest have either been eliminated from post season or clinched a spot in the playoffs. So tis weeks picks will be more of a psychanalysis of team's inner resolve. Which means in many games, hunches all around. Last week we were 11-5 bringing us to 156-71(68.7%) In the AFC the teams with a little hope remaining are LAC, Denver, Miami, Indy and Cincy. In the NFC it is LAR, Wash, TB, Seattle and Atlanta. Note: Because yesterday was Tidlees I didn’t send out teh Netflix games, but I picked KC and Baltimore. Honest, no foolin’; Sorry, I couldn't find a notary office open on Christmas day. Teams with hope – Seattle, LAC, Indy, TB will beat respectively Chicago, New England, Giants, Carolina. The TB Carolina game could be decent because the Panthers are playing better now. Buffalo is in and better wake up earlier against the Jets. They will win. Detroit and San Fran looked like a winner game at the beginning of the, Not now. Though the Lions injuries could make it closer. Miami has a little hope but may falter against the Browns.
The best games of the day on paper Denver-Cincy, Arizona and the Rams, Atlanta and Washington - both in the hunt – and the game of week, Minn and Green Bay Also watchable is Dallas and Philly. The Eagles have cinched, and the Cowboys are out of it. But Hurts is out and this is a big rivalry game. So here we go: I like the Ram a lot over a Arizona team which has lost something along the way. Denver and Cincy are both in the same situation though Denver is better positioned. This is a tossup. I'll take Cincy. Another tossup is Minn and GB. I like Green Bay. But I'll with the Vikes again. Lots of consternation there. Atlanta makes me queasy. I’ll take Washington in another close game. And I'm saying the Cowboys upset the Iggles. Oh, by the way – I gave my beloved Pats short shrift earlier. LAC will win but the Pats will play really, really Great.
Now that streaming of sports seems inevitable across the global sweat system, will football games just be warm up acts for big entertainment concerts.
Without questions rents are way too high. And to me it is landlords just taking advantages of an inflation powered marketplace.

The Dems got together yesterday all smiley saying we hop ewe can work responsibly together for the good of all Americans. If course they do, they aren't in power.
