Today's Tids Issue 5.674
What's good is good:
As we walk and laugh and weep and fight and make choices through life, it is my humble estimation that one the most priceless assets we accumulate of all is memories.
One great reader writes yesterday:
"As you think of what memories you leave upon dying, make sure they are good ones"
It seems that Dems are disturbed because Bidens excuse for the pardon citing Polictial selective Prosecution abets Trumps similar defense against politically induced prosecution.
My dad left his job to get into archeology. Now his career is in ruins.
By the way, a big top of the Tids Tam-o-Shanter to the French and associate's fir the reverent restoration of Cathedral Notre Dame. It was doing things the right way – the extra thought. The additional sweat. The agony of perfection.
The Question:
People Only know what they know. The older generations are becoming a smaller and smaller percentage of the population. Think about that when I ask: In a new vote, people selected the best all time Disney Movies. What are the top ten?

It seems that the Government pays for all my daily entertainment activities through Medicare. Who knew I could ever be so beholding.
My question is always how is an overdose of a recreational drug deemed an accident. That said itis always a horrific tragedy. Drug deaths bother the hell out of me. Especially because the habits often begin when the users are still mere innocents. I would make that a number on priority for big government. Where is Nancy Reagan when you need her,
The Stock markets used to revolve around the fortunes of mighty US steel. That was the company that said it all about the US economy. Until it was sliced and diced by the professional managers.
An Irishman comes into a bar and orders three beers. he slowly drinks them one after another, then he orders another three beers and slowly drinks them. After repeating this for several evenings, somebody finally asks why he orders three beers at a time, as the last one must be quite flat when he gets around to it. "they’re for my two brothers who left for America. We agreed to always drink a couple of beers for each of us as long as we were all alive." But, the night comes when he orders only two beers, and the entire bar falls silent while he drinks them. when he orders another two beers, the bartender expresses his sympathy for the dead brother. "What? Dead brother? Oh, you misunderstand... No, no, my two brothers are alive and quite well, I assure you. It's just that I've given up beer for Lent."
I read this morning that NCAA football players ae lining up to move as coaches se the the dreaded Transfer Portal looming for December 9. That means players will be recommitting to new schools and gone perhaps before their good ole’ Alama Maters are playing in meaningless bowl games. Forget the phrase, Student Athletes. And the Mums and the raccoon Coats.
As I watch the Trump picks for Government positions, I get the sense that PT Barnum would have used them in his side show. I reminded of this song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjxugyZCfuw
The Answer:
I personally think some of the greatest are those that got Disney going and made the franchise to what it has become. But today's voters have it Number One -- Lion King followed by Alladin, Moana 2, Beauty and the Beast, The little Mermaid, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, Moana, The Incredibles and #10 Tangled. Of the older Disney Classics, Cinderella is 21, 101 Dalmatians (Kind of a classic) 22, Bambi 35, Snow White 48, Dumbo 51 and the great Pinocchio – 55. The brilliant groundbreaking Fantasia is 67. Another early one I remember, the Three Caballeros, was 108. Interestingly a true breakthrough effort combining humans with animations was Song of the South. It was hugely popular but can’t survive in today's revisitations of historical cultural norms.
But how can you not like this:
