1993 brought a dire warning when Islamic terrorists bombed the world trade center. What people liked at the movies turned out otbe a pretty darn good year of winners – starting with teh big thriller, Jurassic Park. Soe others were The Fugitive, The Firm, Sleepless in Seattle and Mrs. Doubtfire. Another super classic that year was Groundhog Day. I also liked Dave and Rising Sun, but not so much, Scent of a Woman. How come we don't get straight forward movies like that anymore. I remeber ine song that caught people by surprise, includingteh nameofteh singer, Meatloaf. His number one tune, “I'd do anything for love” was pretty good. I had no problem with the nineties. I mean, I didn’t like Clinton as a person, but as I think back, so mahyif h us ahd our underwear tied in knots but low and behold, I’m still here. Maybe it was because in teh middle of Bill’’s term, Newt Gingrich came along and saved the world. But I liked 1993 because one of my daughters was engaged. And really, despite what the news people tell us, that’s all that counts'
