Sing a little nonsense:
Have you ever noticed how nature videographers love to portray bears catching struggling salmon as cuddly, lovable animals. But nobody cares about the salmon being mauled by razor sharp claws. Life often focuses on the populist side of the story.
A can opener that doesn't work is a can’t opener.
When I struggle with the menus around here, my go to order is fish and chips.
Even when words ring rather hollow,
Millions lineup, ready to follow.
Too late they sense a different tone
Finding their mind’s not their own.

I can understand why Europe is becoming nervous about Trump’s view of the sanctity of sovereignty. It tends to dilute trust.
Well, the old TidsPickers were 175.5-91.5 for the regular season ending last weekend. 66% isn’t like entirely miserable, but it is far from the 75% I hope to get to someday. Now on to the playoffs. Tomorrow, it starts with the LA Rams against the Carolina Panthers. Carolina won the last match when everything, but everything clicked. This time the Rams will win it because they are better. The second game features the oldest rivalry in the NFL, Green Bay and Chicago. I don't like Green Bay, but are the Bears experienced enough to win a big one. I'll stick with the Bears. The Sunday kick off game could be one of the great ones – the Red hot Jags against the should be red hot buy now. Bills. I have trouble with this one. Goldie Locks Lawrence is playing like a winner, but Josh will come through. Another nice matchup is The Eagles and the Niners. San Fran has been playing better than the Eagles lately, But they are undermanned and Philly will take advantage of that and win. The Sunday night gams is a mystery game to me primarily because I am so anxious for a Pats win, and I'm looking at it though homer eyes. And the Chargers are very good, But I'll stay with my guys who have proven a lot to me this year. The Monday night game is the least attractive of them all and I think Houston is just too good all-around to lose to the Steelers. Their aggressive D line with keep old man Rogers running.
Karoline Leavitt is a master of CYA.
Stephen Wright promised himself he would never tell pollical jokes, but the 2016 election forced him to relent: “I was having a nightmare about the elections and then I realized I wasn’t sleeping.”
What really bothered me about the killing of Renee Niccole Good was all political sides and media turning her into a political football forgetting that she was lifeless, laying there in blood;not of pausing for a moment to recognize that a very nice woman was shot dead and her three children and other relatives will miss her so. Have the powers that be totally lost their souls.
Towns are starting to wake up to the intrusions posed by the addition of speed cameras for added revenue... oh, I mean “safety”. These cameras are connected to a nationwide database. I’m tired of being connected to nationwide data bases, private industry or government. Yes, some towns are taking a second look and deciding these are not good for our citizens.
There are three kinds of people in this world: Those who can count and those who can’t.
The Answer:
Number one is the Beatles. Next is Elvis followed by Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Queen and Garth Brooks. You can also add Elton John and Madonna into the mix.
