The future never ends.

Today's Tids Issue 3,606
Opening Stuff:

Stuff ends. But with just about anything, there is always a beginning on the other side of a closure. Often after momentary bewilderment, it is filled with excitement and growth. Maybe even a small adventure. It might include learning anew or building upon a talent long sheltered. Ends will bring sadness at times, but they will always be countered with hope, building upon memories and triumphs. Rightfully feel the emptiness of an ending; prepare to enjoy the fulfillment of a new beginning.

Lobster rolls around here are declining in quality, with too many restaurants using too many claws.

Meanwhile, the anxiety level in America grows as the search for the Kelly Ripa co-host continues.

But, the Lobster bisque hasn’t lost a step.

Let’s hear it for the Constitutional sheriffs of the Western states!

Tech tip: The FaceBook app is a battery hog. Better to go to FB through the browser. FB is also a personality hog, and is better to be minimal with broadcasting energy.

The Question:
Name five movies directed by Clint Eastwood. Big Bucks Bonus: In France they are celebrating the 100 Year anniversary of the end of the 10 year Battle of Verdon. What do you think was the total of French and Germans killed in that longest of WWI battles: 0-30K; 30-60K, 60-150K, 150-300K, Over 300K.

I think Susanna Martinez is one of the best Repubs in the land. And, now we have stab-your-best-friend-in-the-back Trump blasting away at her. What’s that all about?  Is it because she won’t be bullied by him and his ego can’t take it. How shallow is that. Is his strategy to sever the legs of anybody who might be better than him? Susanna is a tough cookie who makes plenty of tough, unpopular by libs decisions. Maybe she is the secret Independent candidate being touted by Bill Krystal. I’d vote for her in second. She certainly would be the best person running to be the first female president. I think she is a winner. And the more Trump lowers himself to mindless tweeting, the stronger she looks.

The Rhode Island general assembly has agreed to wear Under-Armor shirts while in session as a means for increasing funding for the Government Employees pension trove.

The real alternative energy could well be Nuclear Fusion. Note, I said fusion, not fission. Breakthroughs are being made for this system which promises to be far more productive than wind or solar. Keep an eye on it.

Just what the lawyers need, a new pool of of plaintiffs for what could be the biggest class action boondoggle of all – cancer from smart phones. For some reason the CDC released what they said are significant preliminary results on a test of phone wave’s effects on rats. While there were some signs of cancer (More so in males), the study also showed that the rats receiving the waves lived longer than the control group. Crazy! So, how did the rats hold the little phones to their ears? And what was the most popular ring tine? Actually, I rarely ever get a phone call, so I’m cool.

Anything Goes Society, Department:
Or, should I have titled this, “There’s an excuse to be made for Anything, Department:” Have you heard about the growing trend of “Sugar daddy” scholarships. Well, our enabling society wants to suggest that anybody can get through college without debt if they can latch on to a rich person and get free grade point averages for lots of sex and companionship. There is actually Sugar Daddy App where prostitutes lite can seek out the money person of their dreams. Also, in this fairness for all society I would hope there is a Sugar Mommy And a Sugar LGBT site too. Let everybody indebt their bodies instead of wallets. Who said America isn’t great.

Surprisingly, the Shaw’s supermarket has a pretty good Lobster roll at a good price.

How smart is a candidate who is weak with women and Hispanics to disparage a great woman Governor who is also a Hispanic.

The Parking Lot: Chapter 62 contiues…
Nancy sat down and told the Margaret to sit on the far conch out of the way of her and any alarm buttons. She motioned to Gerry McGuire to come around and sit opposite her in one of the two chairs facing his desk. She was surprised when he did it. He actually put on his best political smile and came over to shake her hand before sitting.
“I’m sorry for the air of uncertainty we created for you. But we do get some unusual types trying to assault our offices.” “If you get my drift,” he added.
“Thanks accepted,” and she gave him one of those smiles that always melts Jared. Maybe I was too aggressive, but I know I have something that is intrinsic to the geography and history of RI. What I have is an Attorney General issue, and I think it is time to sort it all out.” She paused for a second.
“Did your associate up in Fall River or Tiverton bring you up to date on unusual occurrences?”
“You were quite right about bad boys playing in Fall River. They were the worst of the worst with a couple of them hired guns from out west.” Now Gerry looked at Nancy seriously.’ Now, we have no idea how these men met their final fortune, but we are happy they did.” Nancy let out a small breath.
Nancy began a short version of the tale about how she is the owner of a majority of the land in Tiverton, and that many of the people with acreage are there because of a smart man named Richard Hicks. She also implied that there are good Howlands and bad Lowlands and she was still working on that part of the puzzle.
   McGuire made a note.
“So,” she finished. “ as far as the state is concerned, what I have is all about the casino. Some people you are negotiating with, can’t legally sell the land. Unfortunately, they don’t know it,

The Answer:
Clint has had some winners in his directing career.  Big Bucks Bonus: 163,000 French were killed and 143,000 germans were killed which at 306,000 would make the answer 300,000 and over. Bous: The five movies considered the best directed by Clint are Unforgiven, Gran Torino, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Million Dollar Baby and Mystic River. His next five best are Pale Rider, High Plains Drifter, Letters from Iwo Jima, Flags of Our Fathrs and A Perfect World.

The Cleveland-Golden State,  Labron-Stephen, NBA playoff could be a great war. Go Cleveland.
