The Villain Oozes in.

Today's Tids Issue 5,279

Kiss it goodbye:

So, did you hear about the group down south that hired a Palm reader to find out why one tree wasn’t producing coconuts?

Let’s hope this Tids gets better than that. I never know where the Tids is going to until my fingers start moving.

Last Sunday it seemed clear to this non-medical person that Miami QB Tua wobbling unsteadily and falling to the field had received some blow on the head, most likely a possible concussion. Now that little incident just became bigger as last night Tua was leveled on the field again and carted off on a stretcher, then to the hospital. Many a football player has had serious later life problems from being banged in the head too many times. The NFL wants their players playing and they seem to overlook their own Concussion Protocol Policy when it is advantageous to a team, as they apparently did last Sunday and again before last night's game when it seems reasonable to assume Tua should not have been in either game again. This will become a mild uproar, I assure oyu of that.

I have actually had many concussions over the years, and look at me, I'm now just writing the Tids. Uh-oh!

The Stock market is making a habit of finding new lows. I just hope they start ending up with a few mediums. I’m not greedy.

The Question:

Who are the ten wealthiest movie stars?

The Headlines:

--Markets Open Higher But Fade Again At Mid-Morning.

--Russia’s Putin Illegally Annexes 4 Regions Of Ukraine.

--Floridians Awakened To Unimaginable Destruction; Ian Reforms' As Hurricane Just Ahead Of Carolina Landfall.

--States Sue On Biden Student Forgiveness Program, Admin Scales It Back.

--Liberal Justice Jackson Officially Joins Conservative SC,

One reason Insurance Companies in Florida are I dire straits is because of politics and their elected Public Utility Commissioner who won’t allow them to raise rates to compensate for mounting disasters. When government enters the private economy, the natural mechanism of any system dissipates. And that goes for Government bailouts of corporate losers too.

It seems to me that instead of divulging your life history to some date finding service, it would be better to buy a cute dog and walk around waiting for a woman or man to say, “May I pet your puppy/” What better way to meet somebody up front and semi personal. I see that happening all the time and occurred to me it is a far better way to meet Mr. Or Ms. right that exposing yourself to the dangerous internet.

Today is National Chewing Gum Day. That means we have to look out where we are walking on the streets of our town. “Ma... my feet won’t move!”

I aways laugh a bit at this idea of Rules Of War. Rules to govern the slaughtering of people just seem irreconcilable. Hell, we have a as a country are finding it difficult to enforce common sense rules against mugging and wanton thuggery.

Do you realize you have to go to two different huts to get pizza and sunglasses?

Now that we have seen the post Ian results, it is devastating to anybody who has a heart with feeling for others. Overcoming the apocalypse like scenes appear almost hopeless.

I actually was moved to tears last night as I watched a wife explain how she tried to protect her husband she loves who was paralyzed and unable to move from bed... as the waves crashed against her home at the roaring height of the storm. I shudder.

There’s a lot going on but there's; not a lot of Tidable stuff going on.

The Answer:

The wealth of Celebs seems pretty insignificant after watching real humans awaken to a shattered life. But here is the answer anyhow: The ten wealthiest actors are Tyler Perry, Jerry Seinfeld, Shah Ruhk Kahn, Tom Cruise, George Clooney, Mel Gibson, Adam Sandler, Amirtabh Bachehan, Jack Nicholson and Bill Cosby. Some others are Tom Hanks, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold and DiNero. Among actresses, Jamie Gertz smothers all with $3 Bil (Perry had $1Bil). The others in order are Jennifer Lopez, Reese Witherspoon, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Victoria Principal, Jennifer Anniston, Jessica Biel, Julia Louise Dreyfuss, Julia Roberts, Michelle Pfieffer, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.
