Simple Things.

Today's Tids Issue 5,266

Not too funny:

It rained.

It felt good.

As waters gushed,

And fields lushed.

And gardens laughed again.

I’ll stand outside,

I until I’m soaked.

Dumb things can be rehabilitating.

Like this crazy Tids opener.

Smile.

The Markets tanked early this morning after the CPI report because Wall Street was “Surprised” that the 0.1% increase 2022 over 2021 clinched a rate increase fro September. Procrastination and dreaming must be all the rage on the Street if they were surprised by something that was pretty much inevitable based on Powells last pronouncement.

It seems like miles of mourners are waiting to pass by their Queen’s coffin. There’s something special going on here.

The Question:

Mr., Ms. and Mrs. and non- binary John Q Public have voted on who they think will be the super bowl champ. Who do you think are the top 10

The Headlines:

--Markest fade After CPI Increase; Food And Rents Surge Negating Falling Gas Prices.

--Ukraine Counterattack Reaches Russia Border; Ukraine Special Forced Ambushing Russia Troops.

--DoJ Subpoenas 30 More Trump Associates In Election Fixing Probe.

One of the best examples of what a potful of newfound Fed money can create like mushrooms in dark cave is the sudden massing of Camp Lejune Lawyers. If you fund it, they will come.

The big Emmy winners were Ted Lasso, Succession and White Lotus. I couldn't stand White Lotus. I think everybody was happy to see Julia Garner win one, but frankly I thought Laura Liney was due for all of her great work on Ozark.

The Emmy's are always a collection of winners and whiners... and winers for sure.

I went to the polling place to vote in the repub primary. I think they were really surprised to see a Repub voting. I told them it was better than storming the capitol building.

It appears that King Charles III Made a ton of money with his own investments before receiving his inheritance. That makes me think more of is acumen.

Baltimore's super QB Lamar Jackson turned doan a $273 million new contract offer from the Ravens.

After tonight's primary run off for one of the two RI congressional seats, The DNC will be pouring big money in here because there isa distinct possibility that a repub, Alan Fung, could give the Repubs a plus one seat that has been solidly Dem or decades. RI Doesn’t get on the national election map too often.

It appears that dem progressives have their claws squarely aimed at Joe Manchin’s throat. Now that Joe B signed the massive “Anti-Haha-Inflation bill”, it appears the lib bloc in the House will try to renege on the peace offering promise that allowed Manchin to change his mind and cross over. That’s why more and more people, including honorable politicians already in office, just don’t trust polities anymore. The word is no longer sacred. And it doesn’t get any sadder than that.

The Answer:

#1 is the Buffalo Bills followed by the LA Rams. The rest are KC Chiefs, TB Bucs, Cincy Bengals, Denver Broncs, Baltimore Ravens, San Fran Niners, Minn Vikings and GB Packers. Five of the top ten lost and 6 of the bottom ten won. Picking teams is fun. Yeah, Sure.

When looking for bright spots in this world you just can’t find a better one than the resurgence of Ukraine.

And if course in much needed rain.
