Alas.

Today's Tids Issue 5,264

A special glow in the hills of heather:

Long live the Queen, in our hearts, in our spirits.

Queen Elizabeth was a very good monarch. Living in England, it must be nice to know that with all of the cantankerous infighting in the democratically elected Parliament, citizens can always look to the Queen or King as head of state for continuity amidst the vagaries of political uncertainty. She performed warmly, decisively and wonderfully with good humor through multiple generations, cultural alterations, wars and economic challenges. I liked her. She was great whether wearing a bandanna on a countryside hill, or a crone while sitting regally in a golden chair.

A great big luscious full moon just doesn’t look as nearly as grand in photos. Or emit those feelings of awe and wonderment,

Today is National When Pigs Fly Day. Be sure to use an umbrella wen walking.

The Question:

Who and when was the first British King or Queen and how many kings or queens came before e Eliz?

I think that Charles should abdicate to William. A lot of conservative Repubs think Trump should abdicate to DeSantis.

At 8:00 this morning I was at a little bring your own breakfast to an old guy shoot the crap wakeup session out above the sea. I was happily eating my sausage egg and cheese sandwich. I looked across from me and saw another guy, and obvious fit guy dipping his banana into peanut butter. Some health eating habits are different than others.

The Queen visited my town of Newport RI in 1776. Many people here are still talking about it like ot was yesterday; her charm and grace and subtle sense of humor. While here she dedicated a new park, Queen Anne’s Square, around the corner from me. I’ll have to go up there later and read the plaque.

Trumps antics are slowly turning the Red Wave into a smelly Red Algae that often comes ashore here. Ugh.

I have to say that the Buffalo Bills last night lived up to their preseason positive Huzzahs.

Maybe they are just letting Charles be king for a while because he waited so long.to get there. Are we there yet, Mommy?

The Answer:

In 1066, William the Conqueror became King of England. Elizabeth II was the nations 41st n monarch.

The day the reign began:

Since this is such a special day, her is another version you might find interesting

Long live the Queen, in our hearts and our spirits.
