Ball caps and Easter Bonnets

Today's Tids Issue 4,872

Balls and Eggs:

While we humble ourselves this week in anticipation of a beautiful Sunday Morning, there’s another track that is taking us to another delightful beginning, tomorrow is the start of the Baseball season, and in particular my beloveds with the red sox. The whacks and the smacks of balls popping off bats and balls smashing into mitts. And the happy faces on glowing fans knowing that the boys are back, and the trek begins. I love baseball. And I love that it’s back on my tube and my radio, And we’re selling Hot Dogs and Pretzels again.

A girl with an hourglass figure is a complete waist of time.

Biden’s dog “Major” bites again. So I’m thinking that if I Joe brings Major to a congressional discussion meeting, the congress people should pay attention. What happened to kinder and gentler.

The Question:

What is the name of Joe B’s other dog? And name the dogs of the Presidents Clinton through Trump.

The Headlines:

There's a guy in town who walks around talking to himself using only figurative language. We call him the Village Idiom.

When FDR spent like crazy trying to bring us out of depression, we had a situation where the financial markets were broken. Before the Pandemic, the USA economy was actually quiet good with no underlying problems. Spending now to save us from a germ and spending in the 30s to save us from our depressed self-inflicted wounds, are apples and oranges. Lets sotp with the FDR card, Joe.

The Voice is into the “Battles” segment where for me the duets have been historically the most peasant. There were a few good bouts, but I’ll be waiting a while to pick winners.

While Biden will deliver his next massive Jobs Program, Progressives want more and that includes a possible incursion into free market global trade – taxing all cash held by US companies hear and at their overseas locations. That would certainly have Corporate HQ’s moving off shore.

I like watching Gonzaga play basketball.

I got hit on the head with a book. I have only my shelf to blame.

One thing I know for sure – following President Biden’s announcement of his next multitrillion dollar plan, we will watch hours upon hours of analyzing different truths.

I can safely say that this has become one of the most “Spring-Like Marches I can remember in a long time. The flowers actually look bewildered, and birds are flitting to get available seats for rides north. But. it will be below freezing here in two days.

Q. What's the difference between a hippo and a Zippo? A. A hippo is really heavy, and a Zippo is a little lighter.

Bringing Joe B’s Major back rm rehab too early is a little like the left wing calls for early prisoner release.

The Answer:

Dog number two occasional led into sin by Major, is Champ. Bill C had Buddy, wile George B had Barny, Spot and Miss Beozley. Barack had Bo and Sunny. Starting with George W, 26 presidents have had Dogs while in office, George had 13 witch names like Drunkard, Tipsy and Tipler. Yikes!

I think I’ll go out and take walk and watch flowers grow. It’s better than walking in the woods looking for disobedient golf balls.

Good and bad.

Today's Tids Issue 4,871

Green is thrilling:

I saw the daffodils today.

Blooming yellows bright against the early green.

Spring’s opening scene.

Neath a sun higher in the sky.

It is that little thrill I feel

When life renews its journey,

When flowers signal to our earth

That we are alive again.

How innocent are these flowers in bloom.

How simply they spread their love.

How thankful we all feel.

We may just be at that point in the “rosier” future that was priced into the stock market 6-8 months ago. Where will we find the drivers to keep the bulls running?

For every innocent flower I see, Forever smile I see upon a face, I know that in the darkness somewhere, there are tears, there is suffering we don’t know. I pause.

I don’t know if it is all about spring and budding and new life in growing things. But Biden has said now that he is “Going even Bigger’ on Green! I didn’t know he was a poet too. Or could he mean something else. Like throwing everything he can think of about alleged climate problems into Congress with the expectation that the percentage of it he can get passed will be the biggest, most expensive green package ever enacted. That’s where we are in Biden’s Spring.

The Question:

With the release of the album “Days of Future Passed” the Moody blues became the iconic Rock/Progressive band by fusing Rock with classical which pointed popular music towards new dimensions Name all the of original members of the Moody Blues. What were three of the classic hits from that Album?

Perhaps the activities of the RI statehouse represent a good example of why people lock their minds to positive discussion. This week the legislative uproar is about protecting Duck’s livers in France. Which seems to be getting more support than commitments to saving children form abortions.

I tried to sue the airline for losing my luggage. I lost my case.

I see where the Irish government is developing plans that would establish civil servant worker hubs in rural pubs. The idea is to spread government admirative funding to the rural countryside to improve quality of life there. Yes, government workers zooming from Pubs should make everybody In small towns happier. (This is a true story) Wait a minute, all my stories re true.

It sems to me that a lot of the posturing we see these days is designed to pave the road towards reparations for various races and ethnicities. I feel no guilt.

Supply problems may be the cog that slows the economy. Buyers are around aplenty for most products, from Musk-mobiles to wine, but shortages of key components will be slowing down revenue and more companies may be missing projections.

CBS employed their usual hyperbolic efforts launching lasts night’s headlines by saying the world’s eyes are glued to the trial in Minnesota.

Cats have nine lives. That makes them Ideal for scientific research.

Actually, I’m bigger on “Green” than you may realize form reading this Tids thing. Right after I press “Send” I’m going out to play my first round of golf. That will feel like Spring too. I hope I don’t step on any buds trying to break through. I hope I hit the ball too.

Painting eggs.

Today's Tids Issue 4,870

Follow the Sun:

Thus begins the holiest of weeks for Christians as their eyes are focused not on chocolate bunnies and delicious cream eggs, but on the rebirth of the world. A new chance for all of humanity. That’s pretty big,

And Peeps. It’s bigger than Peeps too.

Some of the biggest fights we have ever seen will be between state politicians trying to grab as much of the Biden Pork Pack for pet projects. In RI, I have no say at all despite the fact that the Constitution says I’m supposed to be represented.

One interesting piece of irony I have discovered looking back at Covid is that the big and all-powerful government encouraged people to stay locked in their homes where the most opportune source of entertainment was opening the refrigerator door, thus adding pound after pound resulting in overweight which just happens to have been one of the leading causes of Death from Covid.

The Question:

There’s a list of classic rock songs tat would be chosen for a first dance by loving couples with fond memories of that rock era. What are the Top Ten?

Toilet stolen out of police station. Investigating detectives Say they have nothing to go on.

The big argument now in our state legislature is whether or not to ban the import ad sale of Fois Gars. That’s what the state raked 50th as being desirable for busies spends it time doing. Hindering business success and development, waiting for windfall revenues for Fed packages and lawsuits to fly through the statehouse window instead of creation a positive environment to lure thriving companies to e help establish the best recession resistant basic economy, Unless, of course, some legislatures’ Brother-in-Law is involved.

To anybody who thinks an armed insurrection is good way to run a country, take a peek at Myanmar.

If I say that Japanese music gives me a f---ing headache, does that make me a racist?

People who know music wonder what melodic magic composer Franz Schubert would have given to the world if hadn’t died so young. I guess that’s always the great question when brilliant minds die before their time.

I’m hearing that County Health Officials in several states see a distinct correlation between spikes in fatal and non-fatal substance abuse and the arrival of the stimulus cheeks.

I think it will be difficult for Derek Chauvin to find justice in the latest trial of the decade.

What politicians don’t love giving voters $1,400? The honest ones.

The Answer:

#1 danceable classic rock song is Wonderful Tonight (Eric Clapton), followed by Faithfully, All My Love, I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing, Wild Horses, Maybe I’m Amazed, I want to Know What Love Is, Something, November Rain and Open Arms. The next five are You’re My Best friend, Your Song, Thank You – Led Zepplin, I’ll Stand By You and Time After Time.

Christians are happily awaiting the ceremonies of this week which will bring them to a glorious Sunday Moring. It should do more for optimism than a stimulus check. Because the spirit of love lasts forever.
