Cancel me. I can’t take it anymore.

Today's Tids Issue 4,851

Tradition is good.

Just when you think you are over the Valentine’s Day chocolates, along comes those delectable Cadbury eggs for Easter.

Life is full of tough decisions.

The British alligator in a waistcoat is Sherlock investigator. Jeez, a lot of work went into that one with not great results.

You have probably heard by now that Dr. Suess has been cancelled. Read those words slowly, Doctor-Suess-Has-Been-Cancelled. Seems kind of otherworldly doesn’t it? But this is the new mini era we are in it seems. The secularists have been trying to cancel God for years, there have been attempts at cancelling motherhood ad fatherhood. Yes, there is this underlying movement that seems to be attempting disrupt our heritage and all of those traditional niceties and that help bind good people together. But despite all of the anecdotal headlines implying that people are fed up with things of the past, I think that the majority of people have little in common with the headline seekers and the media saps who are taken by their ludicrous complaints.

Dr. Suess is the highest paid dead person behind Michael Jackson. Last year the poetic Doctor earned $33 Million:

I had a dream of dollars green.

Of piles of gold I’ve never seen,

It may never have ever been.

If not for rhymes you have read,

Even when I am quite dead.

The Question:

Who were the thirteen highest paid dead Celebrities in 2020? You already know the top two.

There is nothing I like better than being a white male. Cancel me.

The Voice opened well last night. There were some good singers and a lot of laughs. Too much crying in the bios. But it is much too early for the crack Tids musicologists to begin their incisive reviews.

If you think about it, Covid numbers allow Government officials to manipulate them in ways to maintain control over people. For many power mad officials, Covid is their greatest gift ever.

I have now had two Covid shots. It kind of gives you a good feeling. But I am not really Covid centric in my daily living.

It seems that the Dems have quietly taken the $15 min wage off the table in order to get the Godzilla “Covid” bill passed. There is also developing resistance to the piles of money slated for states which have mismanaged their budgets. (Like RI). States with governors who know how to run the business of serving the people within the confines of available money are more than a little concerned about spending taxpayer dollars bailing failed managers. It’s a lot like people who successfully struggled to payoff student loans wondering why they have to dig down for more taxes to pay off those who forgot about responsibility.

BTW, part of the big divide is responsible people wondering why they have to also be responsible for the irresponsible. (The responsible have no problem helping the needy)

Water is heavier than Butane because Butane is a lighter fluid.

Today our Gov will become Secretary of Commerce and we will happily get a new Governor. The former, Gina Raimondo, left the state with a $350-$500 million budget shortfall. Today voters are being asked to vote on $400 million in bonds. And the state is still waiting for the Feds to pass a bailout stimulus package. But this state has been loving off single use piles of money, mainly big law suit payouts, to correct bad management.

Lego Store to reopen after lockdown! People are lined up for blocks.

The Answer:

#13 is Marilyn Monroe with $8 Mil. Next is George Harrison (8.5), Freddy Mercury (9), Prince (10), John Lennon (13), Bob Marley (14), Juice WRLD (15), Kobe Bryant (20), Elvis Presley (23), Arnold Palmer (25) and at # 3, the great Charles Schulz ($32.5 Mil). Tops as written earlier are DS at $33 and MJ at $48,000,000.

Will Charles Schulz be cancelled next?
