Well today revelation day for The Wall Street mavens as the Fed announces the rate cut, or not. But most agree there will be a cut even though perhaps not unanimous. There are lots of warning signs still bothersome. The real news they are all looking for is what will be the mood for next year.

The battle to take over Warner Brothers is looking like a great movie to me. IT has it all: Big Hollywood, Son of richest man in the world Larry Ellison leading the hostile take over, ties to the White House thorugh Presidents Son-in-Law and big money from the mysterious Middel East. And a secret relationship between the world’s biggest streamer and the takeover target. Think of the nefarious scenarios that could be written. I’m salivating.

Yesterday was profound in Australia when all kids under 16 lost their social media accounts and were prohibited from creating new ones. The rreactions among kids was pretty similar with most saying they had been planning for this for a long time. Some have found ways around it in Tik Tok. But generally it seems from all I have read, the kids are moving along talking to each other with their voices. And some areeven saying, “Hey Mom, what do you want to do after school?” Couldit ever work here? Nah, too many lawyers.

The White House strategy department should be looking at Trumps continuing attacks on Biden as the cause of everything, While his ardent supporters will shout and agree, polling shows that a large segment of voters, especially among key independents, are laughing off Trump’s anti Biden charges. You know there comes time, when a positive appeal with real numbers is the best answer. I'm sure the smarter strategists in the GOP know this.

With the promise of hundreds of thousands of global visitors coming here for the World Cup, the White House is seriously floating teh idea of making all of them present five years of social media activity in order to gain entry here. I wouldn't even know how to do that. And, who will pay for all the refunded tickets.

A lot of restaurants make a name for themselves by going international or into fusion and extreme creativity. But all I'm interested in are places that cook "mom” food well. And while menu deciphering is becoming tedious, it becomes easier when I spot the one dish that comes with gravy.

But there was a fifteen-part Superman Movie series in 1948 which decimated the imagination of this young lad. And two later starring a flabby George Reeves in 1950 and 1951.
