About the Children:
It's getting harder and harder to write about politics because it has become so inane. I read letters to the editor in newspapers, and they are often of the two opposite sides trying into describe how the other side is more out of touch more insane than other. It has become just laughable, much too predictable. And frankly, very little hope of bringing “United” back into the game.
I was happy to see Wayne Lucas win the Preakness. And I was particularly smiling at the name of this 88-year-old trainer's horse, “Seize teh Grey.” Grey hair cannot scuttle your desire to take on being great.
Deceased Iran President Raisi was a hardliner, and they guy how has pushed nuke capability to the brink of being a big global threat. In addition, Raisi was in line to become the exalted leader of Iran taking over for the ailing Khamenei. Now there is no succession plan. Is it an opportunity for the softer middle to make a move? A lot of people inside and outside of Iran hope so. The odds are though that the incumbent Conservatives are just too strong. Yet, where do they find the next supreme leader who does it all in that country. This will be one of the more interesting news stories for a while. It could have a greater effect on our country than the return of the Kardashians.
The Question:
What is the difference between a boat and a ship?

As I see the kids walking around with their parents, these days I wonder if kids are emulating Parents dress or vice versa.
Remember the big news about being inundated by Cicadas like never before in the USA. I haven't heard a sound since.
Newport, to many, is the second city in Rhode Island but it only has the 13th largest population among RI cities and towns. One reason is that so many people who own houses there are not official residents. Also, this city in which it is a pleasure to live is the only city in RI that is losing population. It is too expensive for real people.
The Eastern NBA championship will have my Celtics against the Pacers. In the West it is the Dallas Mavericks against Oklahoma Thunder. Oklahoma is the surprise team to me and because of it, also the mystery team. Winning the west is a big deal.
A lot of companies would do well by putting the word “Nice” back into to the company formula. And I don't mean “Executive Speak” Nice, either.
The Answer:
I thought there was one simple answer but there is conjecture all over the place. One answer that Makes sense is that a boat can be lifted out of the water with a crane for repairs, but a ship has to go into dry dock. A common definition of the difference is that a boat can fit on a chip but not vice versa, There are formulas about tonnage and by number of masts on sailing ships. But, in fact they are all boats but don’t tell that to the captain of a ship.
AI will be something by the end of next year. Just one man's opinion about something he doesn't know that much about. But I feel the wave.
