Et tu, Brute.

Today's Tids Issue 2,709
Opening Stuff:

If you haven't noticed there will be no color added to the Tids today. all balce, dressed in crepe.

There have been news stories this morning of unexplained traffic jams across the country near leading International airports. Sources say it is Americans with brains scurrying to find new homes abroad. New Zealand, an early Favorite for New America, has passed emergency laws making it more difficult for immigrants to qualify there. There is renewed hope that man made global warming will accelerate making Greenland available for human habitation. Stay tuned for more on the dis-United States brain drain.

So now we know. Now we will learn what the 0-Man really has in mind for us, which he has told the world he couldn't say before the election. Now that he safely ensconced with no homage due future voters, God help us. An election that now will be considered historic, where the so-called "Minorities" becoming the deciding majority. An election that may have been decided by storm Sandy and a Republican Governor and the most partisan President ever strolling hand in hand along the desolate beaches of the Jersey Shore -- that same shore symbolic of the continuous decline of the American culture. A Government led by a President who has said "We are no longer a Christian nation." An election that is the result of a Government addicted to borrowing necessary to satisfy the needs of that growing and significant segment of the population addicted to the largess from that borrowing. A new type of Government dependent American who wants to be coddled by bureaucrats. Who seems to relish intrusions into privacy and free will. Like beasts in a zoo waiting for the next visit from their keeper. What happens when Mother Hubbard finds that the cupboard is bare?

A Muslim has been shot in the head with a starting pistol. The police say it is definitely race related.

The Questions;
Post Election Bonus Q Day: 1. Americans will be moving out. According to late night twittering activity, where will Americans move? 2. to help guide you where not to live, which states went heaviest for Obama.

The Headlines:
--Market Down Significantly After Obama Win; DOW Down 211 in early trading.
--Re-Election Of Republican House Offers Some Hope For America.

Gimmie Nation is also alive and well in RI. After the election, we continue to have as our embarrassing Congressional delegation -- 3 Lumps and a Liar. But even more disturbing is the voters shouting loud and clear that they want to assume more debt. This, a state on resuscitation -- with the third (Or is it second) highest unemployment with little "prospects for employment growth until 2014" and deeply under funded pensions -- said borrow more at higher interest rates. A seemingly mindless population that can't seem to understand that their state has been brought to its knees after a proud historic past, by a union dominated Democrat Legislature; They elected  just 5 House Republicans and just 5 Senate republicans -- that's 10 Repubs in a an assembly of 113 members. A population that cries out for solutions, where there is really only one solution -- their vote for change that has the possibility of ridding us of the downward spiral. After #1 Connecticut, beautiful RI is the second worst place in which to retire, and maybe that's why they voted the way they did. they want to be number one in something.. I think I'm a masochist.

Oh yeah, two towns in RI have something to be proud of: East Greenwich and Situate Voted for the Mittster and Hinkley. West Greenwich was the only other town close to being sane, voting Romney and others ahead of 0-Man and a couple of tenths short of for Hinkley  beating the East Side Liberal.

The admin and local legislators are really good for the retired seniors, alright. At 11:00 the Stock market was down 294.55 and rising fast. It will be over 300 by the time I push the "send" button.

I think gambling is a waste of money, and certainly not the substance of a solid meaningful economy, but Newport voting down expanded casino gambling when they already have a substantial slots "non-Casino" makes no sense.

After lying in the depths of the Atlantic for over 100 years, Irish divers were surprised to find that the swimming pool of the Titanic was still full.

Doesn't it bother you that the first three letter of Down is DOW?

The Answer:
1. The top three places for neo ex-pats are Canada, Australia and Colorado. Colorado? 2. The most "0" backed state is Hawaii where the surfer dudes and assorted groups who conspired together in the forged O's birth certificate caper gave him 70.6%. Next was Vermont, the state with the only Socialist Senator, went 67% (Mostly ex-Pat New Yorkers) for "0". In order, the rest of the over 60% states begib with the hapless Rhode Island, then the NY Times dominated NY, Maryland in Bureaucrat country and the home of Barney Frank and now Elizabeth Warren (Who just built a Teepee in Harvard Square), Massachusetts. In "independent thinking, self determination" DC, 91.4% said I'm getting in line for whatever you want to give me.

Dear God, what has happened to our America.

Now there is only one big question left for NBC News: What will Michelle Obama wear for the inauguration?

I'm going out for a transfusion. Maybe I'll recover by tomorrow.
