Approaching “1984” 30 years too late.

Today's Tids Issue 3,813
For Real Women:

Today’s “A day without women” suggests to me a lot of ideas for multiple Tids, most of which would get me into deep trouble.

Note to readers: If I have a good conspiracy theory developing, please do not interrupted it with facts.

More than ever, the left will be entirely negative about anything that Repubs say, to the point now where most words have become entirely meaningless. This has made it really, really difficult to write this mess every morning. There are no facts left in society.

Actually, I started out this morning with a large headache having first read all about Health Care cross firing opinions, and then all of the ramifications of the current NFL free agency trade season and salary caps. Whatever happened to just playing the game and grandiose compromises.

According to Brookins & McNelley a “Blue Moon” is a Smurf with his pants down.

The Question:
In what year did the New York Stock Exchange find its beginnings. Bonus: A craft Beer expert named Josh Noel names “The Most Important” Craft beers. Name five.

The Headlines:
--Wall Street In Limbo Awaiting Friday Jobs Report; Oil Prices Fall As Oil Stocks Are Refurbished At Faster Rate.
--Lawmakers Prepared to Argue Merits Of New Healthcare Proposal; Right Side Repubs Most Vocal Against; Some Dems Can See legitimate Compromise.
--WikiLeaks Discloses Massive CIA Personal Data Dump Vault; WL Unfolds Mysteries Of Spies Listening Into Private People.
--30 Killed IN Raid On Kabul Hospital; 50 Wounded: Terror Keeps Moving Forward In Afghanistan.
--Head ISIS Leader al-Baghdadi May Have Escaped Mosul.
--Elon Mush To Join Business Leaders In Meeting With Trump To Discuss Infrastructure; Others Include Richard LeFrak, Steve Roth (Vornado Realty), Josh Harris (Apollo Global Mgt), ill Ford (General Atlantic),Tyler Duvall (McKinsey) and Lynn Scarlett (Managing Director Nature Conservancy).

71% of Americans are saying the USA is losing its identity. We constantly lower standards and then try to normalize the new ineptitude. People accept insane arguments like pot is better for young brains than normal boring development. Now people think that the constitution orders the government to provide Health Care, and any effort to back away and go private is anti-constitution. Large blocks of the country think breaking laws and abetting lawbreakers is ok. George Orwell had us in a world where independent thinking was a crime, where the ultimate objective was total power for small ruling group, where history was rewritten or destroyed. Or, was it Aldus Huxley who would have us living in a world of behavioral conditioning, class subjugation. Many have written over the years of the horrors of encroaching governments and the disillusionment in a Godless society.

One of the real problems for women in this new race to be seen as equals to men, is that they begin swearing more and acting stupid.

Now, every time my cable TV flickers I will think the CIA is tapping in. Is Alexa reading over my shoulder?

There’s a lot of cheap impeachment talk going around these fifty grand states. Most of is based on the left saying he isn’t doing what I want him to do. In America that’s called -- vote him out the next time. What the left seems to be espousing is more like third world country insurgence and violent overthrow.

With the private sector union membership declining, it is my guess that the bosses there are finding new life in these “Days without…” work stoppages. Oh yeah, and socialist mayors in cities across the county support it, finding it a new way to get votes and spur on the progressive movements.

Every time I read something about “The Wall”, I gag. One of the nuttiest ideas ever in America.

This will get the Anti-Trump marauders going. China has just granted the Trump family 38 “Trump” Trademarks which would set them free to build many businesses there, from Hotels and Golf Courses to Bodyguard and Concierge Services. I’m sure law suits have been already filed with the US Gov Ethics committee. I don’t mind any President ever coming from business, but this guy trying to unwind himself from businesses that are built upon his name is next to impossible in the eyes of anybody who wants to get him, or create general havoc.

Oh, by the way, all of that animosity invoked by the left against Ivanka has her line of product’s sales soaring! There has never been no such thing as bad publicity.

Calling the kettle Black, Department:
Dan Rather says Trump may be “Unhinged”.

When regulation dissolution and Infrastructure programs gain traction, the tide of praise for Trump will rise, regardless of whether or not he is likable.

Uh oh, my Wi-Fi just went off, and there is a mysterious white van in my driveway. It’s either the CIA or a serial killer.

These “days without…” are pretty lame. Businesses unlike government agencies know what they can afford and who and how many they can profitably hire, So the fact that somebody stays home because they don’t feel wanted, will only serve to prove to the companies that they aren’t.

The Answer:
The NYSE had its beginnings in 1792 and was formerly organized in 1812 Bonus: Number 1 on Josh Noel’s Most Important list is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. #2 is Sam Adams Boston Lager. The rest of the top ten are  #3 Bourbon County Stout, Anchor Steam (The Original American Craft Beer), 90 Minute IPA, Blue Moon Belgian White, Lagunitas IPA, New Belgian Brewing Fat Tire/Bells Amber , La Folle and Pliny The Elder

I’ve talked to some pretty damned smart woman and they respond to this day off by saying things like, “No, I prove I’m needed by working hard and getting things done”.
