Today's Tids Issue 4,475
Tolling:

This always a paragraph which is so hard to write. It’s the one about Americans at work; pouring a morning coffee, making a copy, fearing a moment with the boss, smiling at a co-worker, remembering to call home about a plumbing problem. Yes, people at work. Real people of every possible classification. People who without warning, set upon by murderous dehumanized invaders from the Middle East. There are images I can never forget, and hope that all across the land sense forever the immensity of the carnage. Yes, never forget, even though it still hurts to the core. The memory must remain for what it is. To keep us all on the alert, ever vigilant, no matter how many may want to soften the enormity of people killed instantly, people cringing in fiery offices, falling in the sky. Let us pray for those how died and ones who live with memories.

One constant of innate trust has always been feeling secure in knowing that you are safe from an oncoming fellow driver suddenly crossing over into your lane. With today’s in car distractions, no more. It seems that my heart aches daily for some innocent driver and passengers suddenly, in fleeting second, in the midst of a horrible tragedy through no fault of their own.

A couple of Dans, Department:
The Dems this morning were looking for a headline that said, “Trump doomed as Dan McCready wins long held Repub congressional seat in North Carolina.” The Repub Dan Bishop won handily in a special run-off. Are too many polls these days built on the hopes of Dems.

There is no truth to the rumor that vegans are using pomegranate for kitchen counter tops.

Being more than a little burned from some high flyer IPO”s, more investors are looking for more data behind initial valuations. Warm hearts and good feelings are just not enough anymore.

The Questions:
When somebody says you are “Full of Beans”, what exactly are they saying?

To me, there is no better house roof than one of character using white cedar shakes. The only problem, it is cheaper to gold leaf your roof.

I believe we are well beyond the two-party system already, but the power (That’s called money) still lies with the traditional two-party harangue. We now have 5-10 parties with distinct objectives for the USA that could be called Communist, Old Fashioned Repub, Old Fashioned Dem, Liberal, Conservative and Militant. Rinos are moderate Repubs with a feeling heart and Blue Dog Dems are probably socially conservative with a blue-collar soul. And then we have California. I think a good book could be written abbot the fractionalization of America. This essentially means that in a two-party system very few Americans are ever truly satisfied with the results. There are just too many independent minds to live happily ever after as one or the other.

I used to believe that the brain was the most important organ. But then I thought, hey, look who’s telling me that.

I think that Tulsi Gabbard is one of the more interesting of the Dem candidates. Unfortunately, she will not be part of the next big Dem show tomorrow night. I mean, I probably disagree with her on just about every front, but she was the most refreshing of the combatants last go-around. If you have to watch snippets of Dems beating on each other, you should have the chance to listen to someone who tells it like it is.

I wonder if US Muslim organizations understand the concept of Separation of Church and State, used successfully by the left to decimate Christian traditions.

The next biggest “He said, she said” case should be between NFL Player Antonio Brown and a former associate, trainer named Britney Taylor. Legal voices are already taking sides, obviously, with 24/7 news and talk shows. Why would we expect anything else? Most noteworthy early in this discussion, according to legal minds, is that civil suits normally follow criminal cases. But in this instance there was no previous criminals legal action, or hospital report or police report. In civil cases, nothing is really ever proven. I’m seeing settlement. And the Pats must decide whether or not to keep a guy who before was only known as a locker room annoyance, but now could be a possible sexual assaulter.

Did you ever think a chicken sandwich could upset stability on Wall Street? That’s what’s happening with the new out-of-nowhere super popular Popeye sandwich which has other chicken people scrambling. I’d like to think we are not a chicken sandwich away from national economic instability.

You many have read that Alibaba’s Jack Ma is on his way to retirement. But, in leaving he says, “I have many more dreams”. It might behoove us to look for his next venture. He certainly has proven himself with Baba.

I proposed to my ex-wife. But she said no. She beievs I’m just after my own money.

Did you know that there are Social Media Consultants who specialize in helping people get out of commitment by designing nuisance tweeting conflagrations?

It’s not you grandfather’s world any more. A judge in France ruled that a company is liable for the death of an employee on a business trip, I guess no matter what personal choices he or she makes. An employee of a large railroad company was having sex with a woman in her home while traveling away from the office… and died of a heart attack. Of course, logically, the company said the death was caused by sex and not attributable to work”. The Plaintiff, a health insurance company countered by saying, “(sex) relates to acts of everyday life like taking a shower or eating a meal.” So, just don’t be surprised by anything anymore, especially if you are a rationale, logical person.

Dueling Headlines:
Morning headline: “Now with Antonio Brown in the fold, Patriots trade away Darrius Thomas.
Evening headline: Antonio Brown sued for rape and sexual assault. Brown Status questionable.

The Answer:
No, “Full of Beans” doesn’t mean you are vegan of anything at all derogatory. It means you are Happy, Cheerful and Full of Good Humor; Jovial, Merry, Sunny, Bright, Light Hearted, Exuberant and having any sort of upbeat outlook characteristics. I’ll take that.

One can be happy and upbeat as their life’s personality, but also feel the hurt and burdens carried by others.
