President superficiality strikes again.

Today's Tids Issue 2,862
For Reinvention:

Dems, their media sycophants plus a broad array of “never-Trumpers” love to say “I Hate Donald Trump”. But they all forget how embarrassed all those true rock-ribbed Republicans must feel, the GOP stalwarts who are hoping to retain Congress in 2018; all those self-reliant, proud to be American patriots, looking for a less liberal faction, government agency dominated country and having an intense desire to be proud of the White House. But, alas…every day, every damn day it is something. There are some who seem to hate for hate sake. But, consider these Repubs who have a reason to be depressed, and then to have to bare the barbs of the sacrosanct.

The word around DC is that the Ringling Brothers/Barnum Circus closed its tent because the White House issued a non-compete clause.

The really bad news is that it appears that RI lobster prices may be going up this summer, as lobsterin’ restrictions increase. Now we’re talking impeachable offense.

Seriously though, many a knowledgeable legal eagle are saying that Comey had over stepped his FBI authority and should go. I know that many Agents were peeled off ceilings across the 50 states after he first absolved Hillary of prosecutions. “He has lost credibility,” are words echoed by those who know a lot more than I. The FBI is involved in a lot more that’s important to the safety of Americans, contributing to a less chaotic country, than investigations of Trump and Hill.

On the other hand, Dems are now in love with Comey because he was fired by Trump. And you wonder why I have stopped listening to politicians.

The Question:
See how many of the Greatest FBI Agents of All Time You can name.

The Headlines:
--Comey Ousted; Sacking Has Markets Lower, But Beginning To Shrug Off Hyseria; Street Awaiting News Of Major retailer Earnings; Macy’s, Kohls and Penny On tap Today.
--Turkey Objects To US Arming Of Kurds.
--Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov To Meet With Tillerson And Trump In Washington; Tensions High.
--6  Year Old Boy Hurt In Hit And Rn By Illegal Immigrant Deported 16 Times!
--No Leakage At Collapse Of Tunnel At Hanford Washington’s Nuclear Storage Facility.
--New South Korea Prez Says He Will Go North To Meet Kim; Park Is “One Korea” Proponent.

I will definitely need to see a psychologist after this presidency.

Tiptoeing though the Poppies, Department:
I remember telling a very intelligent, liberal woman that Obama’s surge in Afghanistan will never work. She, a very nice and literate older than me woman said, “Oh. Give him a chance”. I smiled back, and said, “The Taliban will just go into hiding and wait until we get tired of it all and leave. It’s a fact of Afghanistan life.” She looked at me quizzically. After nineteen years, we are still fighting the same fruitless battle. It’s that same fight that frustrated Russia, our enemy who warned us not to waste our resources and good people. Oh, I agreed with the initial bombings of the al-Qaida camps. You gotta do what you promise to do when you make a threat after 911. But we should have left it at that. These wars in those barren lands have been going on for centuries, mainly because there has never been an enemy capable of waiting it out for another day. We tend to fight nowadays politically. The Taliban fight intrinsically. They know how to fight well their way and we know how to fight well our way. And that may be the big problem.

The most inhibiting phrase of the day is “It’s just a tax cut for the rich.” Hmmm. The minuscule population of rich pay the bulk of all taxes. 45% of Americans pay zero. The rich create jobs, lead and fund charities and spend lots of moony that finds its way into the hands of others. If government efficiencies reduce the tax burden for all, the 45% will still pay nothing, but the earners will necessarily pay a smaller percentage of their salary, while still being saddled with the largest percentage of the total burden. This class warfare hoax is one of the biggest political stumbling blocks to digging ourselves out of a statistical morass and getting us back to real o real progress. Party jealousy is not good for America.

Comey, Comedy. Comey, Comedy. Comey, Comedy. Comey, Comedy. I think there is something here. Too bad. He seemed like a nice feller.

All Trump’s Comey termination letter did was to focus the eyes of the opposition on the fact that Donald doth protest too much about his innocence. Hmmmm…could be a lot more there.

Maybe as odd as the Comey firing is the news that Convicted Murderer Aaron Hernandez has had his conviction overturned mainly because he committed suicide. What kind of a crazy law is it that lets a murderer conviction by peers have his evil deeds erased because of an appeal not available totally due to a death by a person’s own hand. Does that makes sense. Are the criminals running the legal system? I have to believe that the Lawyer Baez put that devious thought in the former All-Pro’s head so he could have the opportunity put his hand in Robert Kraft’s pocket to get his fee payment. He has been rumored to get paid in let’s say, some less than honorable ways.

Perhaps you didn’t see the West Virginia reporter allegedly pushing past Secret Service people to get an answer from HHS Tom Price to his question on the Health care act. His question: “Is Domestic Violence a pre-existing condition.” Don’t you find it interesting how people can tie anything to government pots of gold.

Remember when history used to be like, “Germany surrenders”, “Edison Light bulb works”, “Salk Squashed Polio”? This morning I read a headline, “History made in Australian Parliament as Green Party Senator Larissa Waters breastfeeds baby.”

I heard somebody talking this morning saying that we make too much out of too little. The women in this instance was talking about news that thousands of Grants for young people needing funds for higher education were rejected because of improper “Fonts and Margins” on grant request. But, what about content, I say. I’m empathetic. I think the Tids is more that bad typos.

BTW, in case you think this is cause to throw darts at the new admin, rethink. New Ed Sec Betsy De Vos banned this practice of previous admins when she took over.

So, Trump is his own worst enemy. Shutting the mouth, disabling the thumbs, would be very good for his future. I like many of my fellow deplorables are looking favorably at a lot of the stuff that is turning around what Obama did to us. But, Trump and his family seem to be creating too many marginal, potentially suspect actions which a media that hates them will amplify regardless of facts. The attacks will go on. If DT had just one redeeming feature, maybe he could create an appeal for a broader audience than his base. He needs some of that badly. But, he has had several opportunities to do that and he muffed them

Elizabeth Warren says she would gladly walk ng lockstep with Trump on the way to passing Glass Stiegle II. That is, until he insults her.

Fair and Balanced:
Charles Krauthammer calls Obama’s Last speech “Complete Moral Condescension.” He says after listening to the speech: “It’s nice to be reminded as a nation why he’s gne after 100 days of viral silence.”

Trump is bad for himself. Obama was bad for the country.

BTW, I just saw a survey in which I am involved with every day, and on the Question<”Why did Trump fire Comey”, the answers were: 1. Sacked because of investigation into Trump campaign Russia ties – 52%; 2. Sacked over handling of Hillary email inquiry – 16%; 3. Sacked because he wasn’t good for the job – 29%; 4. Other – 4%; 5. Don’t know 2%. This survey tends to lean right of center.

The Answer:
Personally, I think of “I led Three Lives”, communist chaser Herb Philbrick. But alas, he is not on the list I have. #10 is Herbert Hoover. Next at #9 is Joe Pistone (Donny Brasco) who helped bring down the Bonano family. It is said it was very tough; it ruined his life. Next is Melvin Pervis who led the charge and brought down criminals like Baby Faced Nelson and John Dillinger. After a conflict with JEH, he left the FBI way to early. Charles Winstead also was involved in ridding the country of Dillinger and Nelson and all the others; and like Pervis he had a falling out with JEH. Joaquin “Jack” Garcia was even a better mole that Brasco, bringing down the Gambino family. He is named FBI’s “Greatest Undercover Agent.” Arabic speaking George Piro was Sadaam Hussein’s interrogator, and he got him to admit much, including hiding all of his WMD’s GW Bush likes Hm). Mark Felt was “Deep Throat”, and you now what he did. Ironically, John P. O’Neill was killed at the 911 Twin Towers where he was head of security. Prior that he was a  main investigator ferreting it al-Qaida and Osama bin Laden after the USS Cole incident. Clyde Tolson was Hoover’s closet friend, and helped shape the FBI, while overseeing the capture of many a “Most Wanted” criminal. Robert Lamphere was one of the best agents of the 40’s and 50’s capturing several Soviet agents and leading an atomic counterintelligence effort that resulted I n the capture of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. He also Unmasked Germen atomic spy Klaus Fuchs.

I hope I can be nice tomorrow.

(Note: Labarov currently holding press conference. Will report tomorrow.)
