Is the internet really better for humans?

Today's Tids Issue 4,718

Sheep grazing in Milwaukee:

It’s getting harder and harder to find a quiet place where nobody goes.

Well, I’ll be damned, Department:

In our big state newspaper, they actually had a headlined story: “Factchecking Michelle Obama. It reminded us that her comments Monday night about “Trump ripping migrant children from parents and throwing them in cages,” was her “Picking up on a frequent and distorted point made widely by Democrats.” The fact checker also pointed out that “The very same cages were built and used in the very same way in her husband’s admin to temporarily house children.” Ad you wonder why I don’t listen to PBS any more – Politcial BS.

Yesterday I spotted an albino dalmatian.

Think about it.

Could it be that responsible media is, may be waking up to realize that they are a big part of what has contributed to the fracture in the Country. Maybe.

Did you hear about the undertaker who got fired f because he kept asking customers, “Smoking or non-smoking” instead of cremation or burial.

The Question:

The Headlines:

--Target and Lowes Score Big With Q2 Earnings; S&P Just Ended Shortest Ever Bear Market; Gold May be Overbought.

--Biden Official Wins Nomination; Wil Accept On Thursday.

--Housing Markets Across Country Are Hot. May Be Result Of More People Retreating From Cities.

Until anti-Trumpers begin making the distinction between Illegal and Legal immigrants, the entire Democrat party doesn’t deserve the attention of the American public. Period.

Bison: What a father says when his kid goes to college.

Where is it written that tomatoes must be an ingredient in a bruschetta?

Some restaurants are a lot more enjoyable now that they have more, less noisy outdoor sitting.

If you can keep the first round of Corona going, you won’t have to worry about a second wave.

I was thinking about Kim Jong Un and his confiscation of “Pampered” pet dogs, because, “They represent Western Decadence.” He tells the people there not to worry because they can still see all kinds of dogs at Zoos. And I’m saying to myself, the way the progressives are oozing into the various government entities I wouldn’t be surprised that if in a decade or two people won’t going to the Zoos to look at confiscated Conservatives. You laugh. but conservative must wake up.

Trump doesn’t seem to have made up much ground in closing the distance between he and Biden in the RCP Averages. Trump seems a little closer in the battle ground states. But he has also lost ground with the bookies. I know a lot of people will say inane things like the polls don’t count or they are rigged. But you can’t develop solutions for winning unless you can accept the problems. Denial is not the answer.

A priest, an imam and a rabbit walk into a blood bank. The rabbit says, I think I’m a typo.”

The Answer:

#1 is Paul McCartney (Not for me). #2 is Michael Jackson (The Jackson Five) followed by Phil Collins (Genesis), Eric Clapton (Derek and…), George Michael, Paul Simon (S&G Is a band?), Stevie Nicks (My favorite), Lionel Richey (the Commodores) John Lennon, and at #10 Sting (The Police). The next ten are Rod Stewart, Neil Young, Freddie Mercury, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Diana Ross, Billy Idol, Beyonce Gwen Stefani and Don Henley.

Everybody thinks there’s a lot is going on, but when you examine the hysteria more closely, a lot of it just mainly is the repetition of manufactured crises. That’s why I’m looking for more jokes.

If womb is pronounced woom and tomb is pronounced toom, then why isn’t bomb pronounced Boom! That would make a lot of sense.
