Don’t talk, and don’t write.

Today's Tids Isue 3,082
Opening Stuff:

Some people thousands of years ago probably never thought their words would be discovered on papyrus or carved on rocks. But today, we can be assured that whatever we say or do will be recorded for eternity on hard drives or in a cloud. I may have to start writing the Tids in code. For a Cheeto’s bag and $5,00 I’ll send you a Captain Tids decoder ring.

Donald Sterling is going to sue somebody. You can take that to the bank. And, it’s going to be really nasty.

You got to love drug giant Pfizer paying $100 Billion to get out of the USA. That is exactly what they are doing with their offer to Europe’s Astra-Zeneca, buying a headquarters outside of this country to avoid taxes. With the debt rising towards 20 trillion, the crying need from an overstuffed runaway institution called the USA requiring more of corporation’s and people’s income isn’t going  to subside.

The Question:
What five officially designated “Slave States” were not part of the Confederate States of America (CFA)?

In a new Tids special news report on the recent airlines stowaway, the crack Tid’’s investigative team learned that the young man chose the wheel well only because it was roomier than economy class.

I would call much of today’s pop music “Glitz Rock”.

The one time courageous heroine of RI’ers, Gina Raimondo, seems to have hung a significant left turn. All of her proposals smack of more of the same old big government and regulation attitudes. She has proposed two new arms of government; She has missed every opportunity to bring into question the antics of the legislature as the main culprit contributing to the decline of the Great Rhode island. Her last new idea was basically blaming the banks for housing foreclosures, essentially requiring them to bail out delinquents. I hear that a lot of her former strong Republican and more conservative independent support is waning. But, as the Pol experts says, she needs to be liberal to win the primary. So much for getting at the real problems. Politics as usual.

No guilt, no shame Jon Stewart is trying to liken comments at the NRA convention to the free speech of Ronald Stirling. Beware: Comedians can be dangerous to your rational health. Maybe they should have legal warnings after comedian shows like Stewart and Mahr similar to those in Drug commercials. The loss of an honest mind and principles is a serious thing.

Huntley and Brinkley must be shuddering somewhere as they watch he once fine NBC news operation fade to the back pages of integrity precepts. Even yesterday, in the maniacal rush to scoop the rest on the NBA/Stirling decision, they got it wrong. And, who comes out with the apology? None other than David Gregory, who should be residing on the mea culpa dais for continuous mis- and ideological “reporting”.

Maybe this is why we are having so much rain and storms these days: There is just too much Internet crap being uploaded into the clouds, and the God’s are really, really angry.

Hillary has a great chance of being the next Prez for no other reason that the Dems and media would probably love anointing the first woman Commander in Chief right after they elevated the first black to position of world leader. That’s the way it works these days. It’s not whether you are good or bad, but how you play on TMZ.

If every American had a money printing machine in the basement like the Fed Gov, the word “bankruptcy” would cease to exist.

That drip, drip, drip you hear is the real information leaking out on Benghazi as current White House operatives cleanse themselves preparing for their next position in the history’s biggest bureaucracy. Of course these drips may become pools in the Hillary campaign.

V. Stiviano’s lawyer says she is very upset over Stirling’s penalties. T couldn’t be because she recived from him two Bentleys, a Ferrari, Land Rover, $1.8 Mil for a Condo and $240,000 for upkeep and living expenses. Nah, nobody would equate sadness with disappearing dollar signs.

The only way Republicans can elect a President is to vote for somebody they don’t love.

The Conscience: Chapter 41 continues.
Sanna suddenly turned and grabbed Angelica by the arm pushing her forward towards the door which would eventually bring them to Jason. I moved over to my video console to watch the action.
A minute later, a confident Sanna strode into Jason’s office ready to take charge. She stopped short as she as stepped into the large space. Angelica stepped back a pace. Angelica noticeably relaxed as she followed Sanna’s gaze to a smiling James Smith sitting almost regally behind Jason’s desk. He stood as Sanna tried to regain her poise. He started around the desk to shake hands as Sanna moved forward, probably wondering, but also knowing that she was seeing the very wealthy influential man she had heard much about from Melvin, but never met.
“James Smith, I would imagine,” she said, now displaying that annoying superiority. They shook hands, pairs of eyes prying, intimidating. The contest had begun. Sanna moved to a rich leather chair as James returned behind the desk. She turned to beckon Angelica, but saw her sitting, relaxed by the back of the room near the doors, like an audience. A small frown appeared on the mother’s brow.
I moved quickly now, running down the hall, then a flight of stairs which brought me to the sumptuous ante room. I stood before the big double doors and inhaled deeply. No booze today. I smiled at my good decision. I opened the door.

The Answer:
Missouri, Kentucky, West Virginis, Maryland and Delaware were all “Slave States” but not part of the CFA: Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North and South Carolina and Virginia. BTW, the USA at the time was Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and Rhode island. The USA all considered Free States were joined by other Free States Kansas, California and Oregon.

Remember, Mum’s the word!
