Bernie Sanders moving to Canada?

Today's Tids Issue 3,447
Opening Stuff:

A perfect day is the muse of beautiful dreams. Your mind walks in symphonic meadows to the tympani of the pounding ocean beyond. There are no barriers to imagining magical moments, rhapsodic fantasies. It’s a time for flying above the clouds and loving all the good in life.

It’s nice to live near the ocean where the warmth still retained from summer’s rays keeps the land a bit less raw. Yesterday here it was 34 degrees instead of 29. What a glorious day it was, windless with sun at your back.  A day when you feel lucky to be a small part of a big world.

Uh-oh…it was a liberal landslide up at our northern border in the election last night. The lib leading the way to the overwhelming victory was Justin Trudeau, son of the JFK like Pierre, who is still remembered as one of the most respected leaders in Canada’s history. Let’s hope that the stifling liberal bug doesn’t sweep down with numbing Canadian cold air this winter. The good news for us is that, I’ve seen Hillary and she is no JFK.

The UN is truning 70, and it is showing signs of living way past its usefulness (That is if it ever did serve a purpose or accomplish anything of substance). I read a report yesterday that one of the new defined goals of the UN is to decriminalize drug usage throughout the world. That sounds troublesome to me. Fortunately almost all of the nations said “no way”, we will set our own social and cultural agendas. But that is a disturbing thought to me, the UN control of everything. It’s easy to see one soon to be ex-Prez of the USA loving such control. (After all, the only country moving towards this is Obama’s USA [As opposed to my USA].) As I read that story I’m thinking that 0-Man may just be loving to become the President of the World and will take over the UN, find a way to bypass the General Council and enact worldwide laws to his own liking.

The Question:
Yesterday I was little hard on the Repubs, but the fact remains that in the entirety of government the Dems are way behind. The Repubs control totally 25 states while the Dems only control 7. What are they? Bonus: Where does the US rank among 218 countries in “Number of murders.100,000 population”?

The Headlines:
--Just In: Webb Drops Out Of Dem race.
--George W. Bush says he Never Liked that Guy Ted Cruz.

On The Voice last night I was feeling rapturous after the duet between Korin Bukowski and Chase Karby with their totally moving “Samson”. They called it a battle, but tis was anything but as the two merged their voices and emotions beautifully. I like “Blind Joe”  not just his singing but for his sense of humor and natural presence. He beat Blaine Mitchell who was stolen by Adam. Mitchell has a great voice, but moves too much. I think Adam may have found something. Those twins Andi & Alex are such a pleasure to hear and watch that anybody singing against them will  necessarily recede into the background. Unfortunately a very good singer Chance Pefia was their victim, but not in the eyes of judges who can see capability and, as it turns out, also Tuesday morning Voters. Another good male talent is Evan McKeel, good singer who handles the a stage well. We’ll see how good he is when he has to sing something other than Stevie Wonder. His opponent Riley struggled against his showmanship, but survived being stolen by Gwen. There’ was nobody in the audience who didn’t think that Cassandra should have been saved along with another good male singer Victor Kiraly – except the judges. A few more singers tonight then onto the “Knockout Rounds”. Let’s hope all the chitchat becomes minimized and we can get to more singing faster.

There is too much of this technology for technology sake. You know, stuff you don’t really need but it’s there in our lives mainly because it can be done. I saw that recently when I had to rent a car and found the simplistic radio with one easy to use dial got me to where I wanted to be more quickly and safer than wrestling with a complex computerized radio. And one more thing, I will never buy a driverless car, the ultimate in tech for satisfaction of technicians.

Huh?, Department:
For some strange reason refugees are flocking to Greece! Yes over 500,000 have done it and they continue to come at a rate of 8K/day! Yikes! The lure of freebies is a strong magnet. So strong that the fact there is little to no money left in the Greece economy means nothing to people drugged on the narcotic called socialism. Once a place is know for giving away the store to all-comers, all will come. Closer to home, you just have to take a peek at Rhode island. RI has some of the best give-away programs around, and people stream in.

Yesterday I mentioned that Trump looks like a hit man for the Clinton organization. A reader reminded me that I was probably right because if The Donald was like most knowledgeable people hewould have pointed out that it was Clinton inaction when Osama was in the sights of the CIA that may have accelerated the inveasion of the USA that 911 day.

Why are we always seeing big news features about fitness Crazes”? Because people who are making truckloads of money off of people buying into them, create them. Nothing just happens.

Sanders says that Canadians will not need passports at their common border in northern Vermont.

For some reason I feel encumbered by the unreasoned hysteria to become a defender of Lincoln Chafee. I watch the critics and their laughter at a man who only wants to be honest and see more honesty in others. Maybe he is flawed as a leader but not as a human who loves the goodness I life. He was right more than he was wrong in that debate that has comedians and critics and media setting him up for disparaging laughter. I feel for them man. I believe he has a message for harmony to which more people in the world should turn an ear. Or maybe I’m just a sap for the underdog.

A good friend of mine told me a tale of good buddy of his from Arkansas who kept on re-upping for military duty at the air force base in Cam Ranh Bay during the height of the Vietnam skirmish. After years of this, he was finally asked by my friend, “Why in hell are you so eager to stay in this crap hole?” His friend answered, “So they won’t send me back to North Dakota!”

The Answer:
While the media loves to jab Repubs for apparent confusion at the top, the GOP has a working plan to assure control of state Governorships and legislatures going forward. The Dems only control Cal, Oregon, Hawaii, Vermont, Delaware Conn and RI. Bonus: At 4.7 deaths per 100K, the USA ranks 111. The vast majority of those deaths are in Democrat big cities with the tightest gun controls like Detroit (#1), St. Louis, Oakland and Dew Orleans, In fact among the nations of the world with the highest number of gun murders, almost all of those are socialist or socialist leaning  countries with strict gun law as. How else would  dictator keep himself safe. Honduras is number one. Hey, wait a minute, aren’t they sneaking into The US with Mexicans. Better check into those inner city shootings.

The Canadians are going berserk. Where is Dudley Doolittle when you need him?
