All day long you only read of and see the anger, but with a quick tune-in to Wheel of Fortune each evening you see just loads of delightful people from every race, ethnicity, gender and whatever other category some faceless czar wants to lump us into. Just people from all walks of life playing a game and getting along even though the stakes ar high and somebody has to win.
I just had to end that sentence with “into”. But I will appreciate all of the suggestions to come.

A local High School softball pitcher named Haley Venturini was 11-0 this season while only giving up 7 hits against 173 K’s. Oh yeah, and Haley had a 4,23 GPS in the classroom.
For some reason over the last decades people have been decrying the fate of “used” college athletes forgetting (Conveniently?) that a $200,000 Plus education is something of value. Putting these athletes far ahead of all others who have to pay back loans for a decade or two. Now the Head of The NCAA is urging all states to pass as quickly as possible laws that would allow these athletes to earn money off their celebrity. (A way for Alums to pay above the table for a change.) As if the power house leagues didn’t already have enough advantages. How do you coach a kid who has to go to a photo shoot during practice? How do you create teamwork? Just think of the ramifications. Like colleges will have to create entertainment Agents Departments. And they will.
The Answer:
Plato observed that Human behavior flows from three main sources: desire, emotion, and knowledge. I like to look at old philosophers. With all the talk and all the arguments, we clearly see looking back that there are some basic truths no matter how hard others try to disguise them.
