Remember, always remember.

Today's Tids Issue 5613

A single bell tolls:

Isn’t it sad this morn as we remember thousands of American lives lost to an act of pure evil. And as we realize how the Heart, Resilience and indominable spirit of Americans rose courageously in the face of such a harsh reality, I and many must wonder why we are talking about the folly of candidates debating. Never forget.

The reality of the situation regardless of who you like politically, is that Kamala did what she had to do, and Trump resorted to outrageousness. This is a tight race.

There was another seismic event on Monday evening when Ryan Seacrest stepped on the stage to replace the great Pat Sajak. Seacrest is polished and energetic, but he will nev er make me chuckle as I did when Pat was quipping. It seems noisier now. Ill miss my chuckles.

The Quation:

Who arre considered tehall tie greatsets female Opera songers?

The Headlines:

--Dow Plummets Early as Hope for 50 Basis Point Cut fades following new CPI M Numbers; Recovers Nicely at Closing; Investors React Negatively to Trump Performance.

--Electronic Betting on Kam Goes Crazy in Post Debate Ahours ; Trump Media Stock Price Slumps.

--Hurricane Francine Takes Aim at New Orleans; Ginat Wildfire outside of LA Threatens 65,500 Structures. Man Arrested as Arson Suspect.

In an Obit this morning for a very good friend it said she loved bringing Cheetos to her grandchildren. She was quite the woman at many levels.

I see where Taylor Swift immediately endorsed Kam following the debate assuring the VP of the Teen vote, if they can get their heads out of their phones.

Election Odds Makers Have Harris up 4.5 points following Debate. You gotta hope thatthe Repubsare focusingonteh Hose andsenate races, becaus tat cou wilbe key the event of a trump loss.

Today, I'm going to dig in the dirt and plant stuff. That is one of the great human feelings, propagating growth.

The Power of Cheetos, Department:

“National Park Service officials got a little snarky with their serious message after crews rushed to stop the impact of a bag of Cheetos that was left inside Carlsbad Caverns of New Mexico. The park went on to say processed corn in the otherwise crunchy, cheesy snacks was softened by the humidity of the cave and "formed the perfect environment" to welcome, and host fungi and microbial life. Cave crickets, mites, spiders and flies can discover the snack and disperse the nutrients to the surrounding cave and formation. Molds also have the ability to spread high into nearby surfaces before fruiting, dying and releasing off a stench. After that, the park service explained, "the cycle continues." Who Knew.

So, if the budget isn't passed and there is a government shut down, does that mean we would be facing the wrath of the Cheeto monster. Neil Johnson could have Cheeto dust on his hands.

“Just got a new fancy hearing aid for $7,000.”

“What kind is it?”

"12:30.”

There are a lot of Federal government activities that should be given back to the states. Unfortunately, a lot of states are run poorly because they expect to be bailed out regularly by the bottomless pit of US debt, or class action suits against private industries.

The best decisions are made when you know you are going to pay for it yourself.

There is nothing more difficult than making a decision, but when you do, there is nothing more gratifying.

Harris was obviously short on facts or commitments she will probably not be able to deliver. but the debate wasn't about that. It was about whether average voters see somebody who flounders or stands up thought the night. That's why so many conservatives were calling conservative talk shows this morning ready to jump off bridges. Reuters issued a piece last night that said while she seemed to do very well, Reuters’ panel of diverse Dem/Repub  fence sitters said she didn't change their minds. So, it isn’t over.

The Answer:

Number one is Meghan Marie Hart followed by Maria Calla\is. Monseratt Caballe, Leontyne Price, Renata Tebaldi, Marilla Freni, Christa Ludwig. Birgit Nilsson, Shirley Verrett and Lotta Lehman.

The bell will toll today, and that is what it is all about. Go America.
