That’s an awful lot of vases.

Today's Tids Issue 4,306
Drifting along in puffy clouds:

Just call this Tids on the Run. It maybe weird for a while, but it will arrive.

There’s the “Shut Down”, and then there are the people of my town who are “Shut Out”. The good news is that we aren’t dealing with politicians.

Why would Mariana Rivera get 100% of votes for the Hall of Fame? Maybe that’s just my Red Sox soul talking.

Cristiano Ronaldo must have really messed up. He will pay $21 Million to get out from under a significant income tax legal problem. He was also given a 2-year suspended prison sentence. $21 million in fines! He’ll earn that back in 1 or two seasons. Or, sell a house.

Is Giuliano dripping out information to soften the impact of the Mueller report? Seems like it.

The Question:
Exactly when and how long was the Ming Dynasty? I think about this often.

The Headlines:
--Dow Up, Rest of Market Edging Down; BoA Says US Consumer Very Strong, Not Entering Into Recession; Hoe Sales Slide.
--Fed May Cut Rates In 2019.
--Thousands Of Venezuelans Join In New Protests Against Maduro; Trump And US Recognizes Interim President Juan Guaido Opposition Leader.
--Pelosi And Trump Parry; President Can Come To Deliver SOU, But Nancy Can Turn off The Lights And Cameras.
--Jamie Dimon: “My Heart Is Democrat; My Mind Is Republican:
--Super Bowl Commercials Going For $.1-3 Million/ 30 Seconds.
--Michael Cohen House Testimony Postponed, Citing Threats Against His Family.

It has gotten to the point, that when Trump makes a speech, even one of significance, the first analysis might even start with his use of his opening words, “Good Evening” CNN: It was clearly north when The President issued his first greeting about the evening. There’s one thing about not liking Trump’s personality and there’s another of instant journalistic negativism. It has become laughable.

Celebrity reality shows are about the worst form of entertainment ever invented. And lately that includes the Award shows. The only difference between the award shows and reality show is the list upon which the celebrities reside – “A” or “F”. Who are these people?

The feats of the Pole Volter electrified thousands.

One of the biggest mistakes Democrats make about Trump is their apparent inability to discern the difference between “Job performance” ratings and Personality favorability ratings. He is in fact doing a lot of what conservatives voted him in to do. They just didn’t expect the embarrassment.

Just in case you are interested, the new NPR/PBS News Hour/Marist Poll says that Hispanic approval of Trump is up to 50%, while disapproval is 46%. In December 2018, only 31% approved of the President. It’s all about employment. Hispanics want earned income rather than handouts.

On the other hand, another brand new poll has the Russia thing and Shut Down pushing President down to an all-time low disapproval

I have to apologize. I was intending, as you know to get “The Parking Lot” novel up and running this week. But the gas problem that has knocked out our entire town has me betwixt and between. I’m expecting to get back to normal by next week, but then, who knows.

While there were many spiritual and uplifting moments during MLK day festivities, unfortunately many a Dem pol used the occasion to call Repubs racists. I don’t believe that is the kind of unity that Martin had in mind.

Notre Dame grads had always told me they have a lot of good sense. Maybe they should tell that to the younger generation who want to get rid of a magnificent Columbus mural. Or as one person said, maybe they should worry more about some less that forthright Cardinals.

Do all of the people against Columbus dislike Italians? CC was one of my first real heroes. He, and all of those brave, adventurous explorers still are

The Answer:
The Ming Dynasty beginning 1368 to about 166somrthing.

This Tids writing seems like a dynasty.
