Ugly as ever.

Today's Tids Issue 4,307
Survival:

When you look the growing irrationality and chaos in this country, and in the government, you have to think that all of those Repub Congresspeople who retired last year, and maybe especially Ryan, are thinking, Am I the smartest person on this earth or what?”

I used to think I was smart, but I don’t understand anything anymore, starting with this standoff on the shutdown. There’s an old saying somebody juts reminded me of: “I’ve got to stop saying, ‘How stupid can you be’. Too many people are taking it as a challenge.”

Venezuelans may embrace their new leader Juan Guaido, but that doesn’t mean that military supported Maduro will go down gently.

You hear of a lot of people, who before showering, check behind the shower curtains for murderers. You have to wonder what they’re planning to do if they find one.

Here’s an idea. Maybe they should have ethics classes in high school, and use the Bible as the text book. How well do you think that would go over? But, it would be great for kids.

The Question:
In what year did Apple introduce the first Macintosh? Bonus: Wat was the name of the guy who found the nugget of Gold at Sutter’s Mill in 1848?

The Headlines:
--Stocks Motoring Along In Positive Territory On Earnings Successes.
--China Economic Woes Take Big Bite Out Of Ford’s 4th Q Profits.

A lot of college educations are way too expensive for the jobs they produce. It would be better to have directed High Schools.

I wonder if Maduro finally does go down and out, if Russia will ask for the return of their two nuclear capable bombers?

He wasn’t the most villainous knight of the realm, but he was medieval.

One of the good things about your succeeding generations, is knowing that after you pass there will be at least one more level of intelligent people wondering who to reign back out of control politicians.

Wendy’s has some really bad tasting fries.

Juan Guaido hasn’t made it to Spell-Check yet. When he does that will make him officially in. Hey, Trump hasn’t made it to Spell-Check yet.

There is no more intolerant, nastier national group of individuals than leftists. Just ask Samantha Guthrie.

The Answer:
Apple delivered the Mac in 1984. Bonus: James W. Marshall was the guy who found the nugget and brought the 49’ers West. James was carpenter who had been hired by Johann Sutter to build his mill. Marshall found the nugget, thousands came. The mill fell into disrepair, and Neither Marshall or Sutter ever profited from the big discovery that built the west.

Progress!
