May the Star Spangled Banner Wave

Today's Tids Issue 4,686

I'd Like to have lunch with George Washington:

Happy 4th, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y! Let hope all of our city and town squares are full of people celebrating America. It’s kind of sad to think that I have to say that.

Parking: An average sovereign

Opinions aren’t facts. And it appears that some facts are based merely on the repetition of opinions.

What are the chances that the Disney + Streaming network will go down tonight when Hamilton premieres?

I think I’m resting today.

The Question:

What ae considered the five top patriotic songs about America?

The Headlines:

--Markets Holding Steady As Brokers Take The Day Off To Celebrate Birth Of Nation; London Stocks Fall.

--Fed, State And Local Officials Asking People To Stay Close To Home To Celebrate The 4th As New Concerns Over Growth Of Virus; 50K New Cases Yesterday Sets Record.,

--US Prosecutors Attempting To Seize Iran Gas Shipments To Venezuela.

--Epstein Associate Heiress Christina Maxwell Arrested; Authorities Belief That She Could Tell All Has “All” Concerned.

--Death Toll After Myanmar Mine Collapse Rises To 162.

--.

Did you see that new trend among college kids who are having Covid19 parties? The main objective is trying to get Covid before others. Yikes! And these are the same kids who are believing in rewritten American history.

Oldies but Punnies, Department:

--Did you hear about the guy whose whole left side was cut off? He’s all right now.

--A three-legged dog walks in to a saloon in the old west. He slides up to the bar and announces, “I’m looking for the man who shot my paw.”

Weird Science, Department:

In another aspect of those Covid Parties, it is said athletes of major colleges are hoping to get Covid now so it won’t affect them later when their sports season opens.

One of the reasons I have been less than enthusiastic about the popular Broadway show Hamilton, is because the audience booed VP Pence when he attended it just after winning the election. I’m thinking, if that’s the kind of rude audience that appreciates Hamilton, then maybe it’s not for me.

Biscuits and speeches are better when made with shortening.

The Answer:

The National Anthem is not among the Top favorite Patriot songs, but The Star-Spangled Banner should always be first!! the tops are  America the Beautiful, God Bless America, My Country Tis of Thee, Battle Hymn of the Republic, Stars and Stripes Forever, Yankee Doodle and You’re a Grand Old Flag. And I like Proud to be an American.

I began this morning sitting with friends in a grassy park that spreads down to the rocky coast, above deep blue waters. We laughed and discussed the aches of the world, and our own. We were in God’s nature and the free people’s USA. Some would say, what do you guys know? You are from the past. But what that segment of population called “they” doesn’t quite understand is that we see a bigger picture. We understand repercussions from over reactions. We have seen urgent priorities of the moment come and go. We all grew up learning about responsibility. The young will say “You don’t understand us. It’s a different world.” Yeah, we do understand you and see the changing world. That’s what has us worried. God Bless America. Houses upon good foundations stand against storms, and grow upon unity.

Have a Happy Birthday of The USA…E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
