The Consumer Confidence Index rose to a super Post Pandemic high. I see that as good and perhaps bad. The Admin has been saying don’t worry, the Inflation spike is just transitory, a burst of retrained energy coming out of the dismal slowdown. But consumer confidence is putting a lot of pressure on demands for available good s and serveries, So right now there are more buyers with money to spend than available products and services which is the classic supply/demand formula for continuing growth in increased prices i.e. inflation growth.
Last year around this time 700,000 passengers flew across USA skies. This week 2,120,000 passengers were flying to get-away places. And nary a fight in the aisles.
Yesterday in a special election for a vacated Texas Congressional seat, Repub Jack Ellzey beat Trump endorsed candidate Susan Wright, That poses an interesting scenario for the big congressional battles to come about a year from now: Will Repubs be running away from Trump endorsees? Trump got high marks form CPac attendees, but I’m beginning to see this election to come being decided by the movable middle – preserve our streets, our sensible laws, our beliefs and our historic greatness.

It looks like “Breeze” is going to be a breath of fresh air for those in midsized cities wanting to fly anywhere easier. The Owner/Founder, David Needleman (Jet Blue), says, “We call Breeze a technology company that just happens to fly airplanes. This “App” driven airline is looking at ticket prices between $39 and $99. And more non-stop options for markets that rarely had any.

I have never seen so many dogs being walked around town as I do now. But, it always disturbs me to see humans walking behind them with plastic bags, It’s like perhaps we had lost our place in the world as the advanced species of life species with an ability to have a logical brain system. I suggest that obedience Schools dogs are trained to pick up their own poop. Or have port-a-poop stalls for dogs in inconspicuous places around towns. Let’s bring a little dignity back to humans. Politicians certainly aren’t doing that.
Yesterday I mentioned the Admin’s “Head in the sand Policy: for dealing with the southern unlawful activity at the southern border. So a good reader disagrees, saying the Ostrich effect is quite pervasive throughout the Admin’s policy thought process, for “Policing, International security especially funding a world class military/navy, Basic economics, Protection of civil liberties. Hard (sound) data analysis and Anything that matters to working successfully based on having the necessary skills, ethics, responsibility!”

Enthusiasm among citizens for a better America under Biden is benign to noticeably slip as local street Violence, Border chaos and Inflation concerns creep into the USA psyche.
