The Greatest Infection.

Today's Tids Issue 4,952

Just say No:

Covid was an awful thing, but its most dangerous lasting effect is that it may have gotten Americans used to receiving checks from Big Brother for doing nothing at all. It does look like the kick off of the great Socialist redistribution of wealth campaign. I hope somebody is working a vaccine for that. Maybe we could call it common sense.

Entomologists are madly scurrying around looking for a new name for one of the most destructive insects ever, the dreaded “Gypsy Moth”. Yes, they say, it is an insult to Gypsy’s the world over. When will the madness stop?

There are just some high humidity days when it is very uncomfortable to have your fingers covered with Cheeto dust.

Where is Thomas Paine when you need him:

The Question:

Which was the last Confederate State to rejoin the Union?

Aren’t you a little bit embarrassed to live in a nation where the major news media focus for the past several weeks has been about Brittany Spears and who controls her millions? And that people actually have time to travel to Washington DC to protest in her behalf? I guess when Big Gov is paying you to stay home from work you have time and money to travel anywhere for frivolous spontaneous uprisings.

“Queens Gambit” received 18 Emmy Nominations! Wow. It wasn’t that good.

What if climate change is 90% due to your basic cyclical changes that have occurred regularly for eons? What do you do about that except adapt?

Apparently, I snore so loudly that it scares everyone in the car I'm driving.

The Admin says Cubans can’t come to the USA, but our US/Mexico borders remain wide open for all e illegal entrants. Do you think it is because Cubans are known to be against socialism and illegals are fodder for handouts?

The City of Providence RI, which is hanging on by its financial fingernails, has announced a new test plan where it will send 110 poorest families $500 per month for a year. That’s about $660,000 for the year plus handling and shipping (Which may cost a million!). They say if the test populations like it, they will broaden the payee base. What’s not to like. Covid largess strikes again.

No matter how kind you are, German children are kinder.

The good news is that I found my tattered and faded Boston Red Sox cap. Do you realize how difficult it is to wear-in the perfect old baseball cap? This is called pure exultation!

I read where the world space agencies are going to cooperate in spending billions to assist in climate change programs. Halleluiah! Basically, what that means is they are going to develop satellite technology that will allow scenarists to watch and record the melting of the earth. That should help.

Today is, “National be a Dork Day” Hmmm. don’t say it!

The Answer:

Yes, it was a fortunate day for peaches and Vedalia onions in America the day Georgia decided to rejoin the Union.

It’s a foggy day in Newport Town.

I love the silence all around,

And cool mist upon my face.

I just love my seaside place.

Love where you are, and love your day. Cause to do anything else is just wasting negative energy.

There are those all around us who are feeling pain, many of whom never complain. So, I like to take a moment to say, I love you man. I wish I could help.
