I don’t like strawberries; but I think they look good in paintings.

Today's Tids Issue 4,962

Be me, be you:

Covid looks more like a political disease, which is unfortunate.

One thing I have learned is that people are themselves. I find that some people think that all others should be like them, or at least conform to images they have for all others; love the foods the like, the goals they aspire to, the music they like… the way they lead their daily lives. But people are incredibly individualistic. Even the closest of relatives can be entirely different, have their own standards and characteristics and desires. The only common denominator should be the seasonable guidelines of a civilized society..

The next big national debate will be over whether or not Covid booster shots are needed.

My new girlfriend works at the zoo. I think she’s a keeper.

The Question:

Name 10 iconic people who died under 40 years old.

The Headlines:

--Huge 8.2 Earthquake Hits Alaska Aleutian Island Peninsula Chain; Tsunami Watch For Kodiak Called Off After Initial Frenzy.

--Fed Says It Is Looking Fr the Economy To recover Further Before Adjusting Monetary Policies; Stock Futures Mixed, But Dow Looks Solid; Facebook, PayPal Miss Revenue Estimates.

--US Leads In All Medals; Japan Leads In Gold.

--Senate Making Some Progress On $1 Trillion Infrastructure Bill; Many Observers Still In, “We’ll See” Mode.

--Postal Workers Union W Quite Unhappy With Biden’s Federal Employee Mask Mandate.

How will we ever know the truth about anything in the future when every action or thought or event is politicized?

New reports say that the price of tomatoes will surge due to the heat and fires in California. But around here in the summer nobody eats anything but local tomatoes, and many brave the traffic around the NYC metro to get New Jersey tomatoes.

Sign in Book Store Window: “The Post Apocalyptical fiction section has been moved to Current Affairs.”

They have started again to publish the New Covid Cases lists in the papers again. Just in time for the political election season ahead.

A New Rasmusen Poll says Joes is slipping into trump disapproval country. He is down to 46% approval with a 52 % disapproval. It is obviously a Dem versus Repub based rating with Dems still pretty solid behind him while Repubs are definitely not feeling Joe’s unity campaign. Note: Gallop Poll Also Has Joe at his lowest rating yet, but higher at 50%.

I have always had this inward anger to an assertive statement from people, “Try this you’’ll love it.“

A sign in a coffee shop window: Come in and try the worst coffee one woman on Tripadvisor had in her life.” One person’s coffee is another person’s dishwater.

Repubs Fact Checked Joe’s latest off-the-cuff gaff, “I use to drive an 18-wheeler, man…I got to.” The only 18-Wheeler evidence found was that Joe rode in an 18 wheeled as a campaign stunt to n bond with teamsters when he was 29. Joe, Joe, Joe.

The Answer:

First, I was amazed considering all of his art that the world loves that Vincent van Gogh was only 37 when he shot himself. Mama Cass Elliot was just 32. Others are Franz Shubert, Freddie Prinze, Piver Phoenix, Otis Redding, Janis Joplin, Jim Morison, Frederic Chopin, Jimi Hendrix, Hank Williams, Mozart, Patsy Cline, Karen Carpenter,  Carol Lombard, Marilyn Monroe, Jesus Christ, Andy Kaufman, Lou Gehrig, George Gershwin, Martin Luthor King. The list is long but the accomplishments are countless

I know for a fact that my likes or dislikes or political leanings are nowhere near being the arbiter of the truth about everybody else believes in their hearts.

My friend drove his expensive car into a tree and found out how his Mercedes bends.
