The Good You Do.

Today's Tids Issue 4,964

Little things with no applause:

I stood on a rock looking out at the ocean this morning. There is nothing like it.

Common sense is not a gift. It's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone else who doesn't have it.

Landlords are people too, and many of them have been devastated by the lack of revenue due to delinquent rent payments. Their taxes never stop, nor does the interest on their mortgages. Or the maintenance of their properties.

Tom Brady turned 44 today. He has said he wants to play football until he is 45. Does that mean that he will retire a year from now in the middle of training camp.

The Question:

What are the best World cities In which to eat well?

The Headlines:

If people are being paid for not working due to Covid programs largess, often making more money per week than when working, how come they are not paying their rent?

Never sing in the shower! Singing leads to dancing, dancing leads to slipping, and slipping leads to paramedics seeing you naked. So remember... don't sing!

Yahoo does a great job in reporting on business and finance. But, it’s about that name, “Yahoo Finance”! Like caveman surgery Associates, that is concerning.

How odd has American society really become? Here’s a weird statistic that says 1 in 3 Americans order a meal at a restaurant primarily to take photos for social media. Frankly, that stat seems a little outrageous to me. But if it was one out of ten it would still be odd.  Do we have Social Media Anonymous? Friends Of Zuck1

Camping: Where you spend a small fortune to live like a homeless person.

For a change, here’s some good news for the Police. Nassau County in New York has approved a new bill that would allow police and other first responders to sue people who harass them because of their profession.

How about if some states start creating laws that clearly state that thugs, criminals and assorted violent miscreants are far worse for society than police who are always walking into life threatening or at least scary situations. now made more scary by activists and cooperating politicians who like making the polices look bad.

If you think due to handcuffing and demeaning the police that we may have big a safety problem going forward, check out this stat I just read yesterday. Rhode Island state police, a mighty fine law outfit, needed 150 new recruits to maintain force stability. They only got 30. I guess people who enjoy living in chaos will be happy.

Newly discovered colorful 60,000 year old drawings in caves on Iberian Peninsula suggest that our Neanderthal cousins may have been far more intelligent than nominally thought. I wonder what future archeologists will say about us after examining our social media usage.

Some black people are wondering why we take down statues of contributors to the US ad erect one to celebrate a known criminal who did nothing for nothing – George Floyd

The Answer:

Sometimes you do good I this world and you don’t even know it.

The woman who owned a tase was stunning.
