The ocean always rolls.

Today's Tids Issue 5,292

Grammar my own way:

Weathermen paint pictures trepidatious

Are their hearts really that salacious

‘Cause in response I’m rather audacious

Seeing each new day for what’s gracious.

Have to you seen enough Pink yet. Wow! Is Hollywood promoting the new Barbie movie through every possible American culture channel or what. They didn’t pay me off so I'm taking it off my “To See” list. As if it was ever on. That said, it will rake in the dough.

But Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning is. I think I will spend next weekend binging, catching up on all the Mission Impossible series. The new is supposed to be very good. Though, I do get tired of watching Tom Cruise run.

There has been a lot of talk these past several years about how China if they wanted could bring the USA to its knees by calling for repayment of about $800 Billion in loans. Ouch. But not known widely is that China owes USA citizens about Billion Dollars. This goes back to the period before the communist takeover when American companies and individuals invested that post war fledgling country trying to break out of a poverty level economy. In fact, countries around the world are owed a lot of millions. You see, when the communists took over, unlike normal government takeovers, they did not assume the country's debts. But it is still on the books of America, and China owes it, BTW, Britain stood up to China and was repaid when it gave back Hong Kong. So, China is alike a guy with a big house and a bigger mortgage.

The Question:

Nato meetings are on. Countries bordering Russia are most concerned about the volatility of a particularly well-known long-time president there. Name five Russia Border Countries.

Know any good rope jokes? I'm a frayed knot.

The Headlines:

--Markets Look to Open Higher; May Dawdle Awaiting New Inflation Numbers; New Reports Expected to Show Cooling but Still Above Feds 2% Goals.

--NFIB Survey Shows Business Optimism Rising to Seven Month High.

--Zelensky Slams Biden Stance on Ukraine NATO Membership; Turkey Backs Admitting Sweden to U NATO.

--New Flooding Has Dams in Vermont and Oklahoma Ready to Burst.

--Biden And Leaders in Lithuania to Attend NATO Summit.

What do you think are the chances of someday in the not-too-distant future hearing of some people being scammed by fake Lithium stocks?

I wonder it Janet Yellen mentioned the Billion owed us when she was negotiating with China last week.

Joe and Charlie

Sat down to hatch

A global heat solution.

Has Climate met its match?

The reports are saying that attendance at Disneyland and Disney World is way down. As Disney finbally out priced the American wallet. That ls what they are saying. Even Americans reach a boiling over point.

Everybody I ever knew with the last name Anderson, and many I never knew, were all called Andy.

The problem with scientists is that periodically they are wrong.

Weather newscasts lately have used headlines like, “24 million Americans suffering through unbearable heat.” 24 million is about 7% of America.

“Duh” Headline of the Day: “Trump Urges Delay of Mara Lago Documents Trial Until After Election.,”

“Prime Days” (July 11-12) are back. Check your local smart phone listing for the best deals.

In order not to hurt the feelings of illegal immigrants here in RI, the state issued them their now authorized temp driving licenses looking exactly like regular honest citizen licenses. Florida says they will not recognize RI and Vermont, Delaware, Connecticut and Hawaii as valid for the same reason – you can’t tell the illegal form the true citizen. (RI just made a deal... until DeSantis gets back in town.) Oh yeah and non-citizens with those licenses can use them to vote. Are we nuts up here?

How many ways do states and feds put their knees on the necks of good Americans in order not to hurt the feelings of those illegal, irresponsible or criminal.

The Answer:

Of course, there is Ukraine, And the former Soviet Countries like Georgia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. Then we have Norway, Finland, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia. The rest are Azerbaijan, China, Mongolia and North Korea.

Since I moved to the city, I feel like coffee. I'm mugged daily.

Well folks, it's time for a song about burritos. A rap.
