Really, what is normal

Today's Tids Issue 4.655

Live for the day; not perceived normality:

I don’t know what I need more in the morning, coffee or soft melodic music.

If this plague is teaching us one thing it’s that living in an Artificial Intelligence world will be a lonely one. Bring back the foibles of humans.

But, not necessarily through Joe Biden

It will be next to impossible to hold back people from beaches once the summer sun begins burning down.

The Question:

Who is the Great Gazoo?

The Headlines:

--Stock Furfures Slip Back Slightly After Extraordinary High.

--New Poll: Only 47% Of USA Pepel Insolation Will Go To Restaurant When They Open.

--Docs Warn Americans Not To Follow President In His Use Of Hydroxychloroquine.

--Trump Issues Warning To WHO: Change Or lose Dough.

--Biden Says He Will Revoke Permit For Keystone Pipeline.

--Judge Rules That Oregon Virus Restrictions Are Invalid.

Expectations can be dangerously confusing.

Casinos became popular among Christians when it was learned there would be a paradise.

American Idol Crowned a winner Sunday night, It was a close match, watchers say, between champion Samantha Diaz and frontrunner Arthur Gunn. Yeah it was a surprise, though Gunn supporters were quick to paise Sam’s talents. Yeah was a surprise but all the elation and excitement was only shown in the eyes of a very happy woman, Samantha, standing there alone in a hotel room. No confetti. No hugs. Just judges clicking off their remote connections.

The Voice crowns its champ tonight. I see it as a race between the “T’s” – Tonisha, Todd and Thunderstorm. The judges absolutely love Tonisha and she was good last night. Todd has the country crowd going for him, and Thunderstorm has another “T”, a big one. Talent. As hard as they all work and as talented as they are, I think thrills are minimal in these remote telecasts. But a round of applause for all of the hard work of so many folks onscreen and off to keep show going on. The winner will be a neck and neck finish with Todd getting his nose out front on a country vote. It should be a neck and neck battle between Tonisha and Thunderstorm Artis.

Eddie Haskell died. Beaver and Wally, Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow, still say today that Ken Osmond was the best ever, as a person, as an actor. Leave it to Beaver was great all-American show. A bitof it crumbled away yesterday.

I had a mini thrill watching live sports this weekend. Nascar and golf are always two of my favorites, and while there was a little rust, the excitement of the unknown was back. It was entertaining seeing the pros hit tremendous drives and deft irons. Unique watching them playing in Bermuda shorts and carrying their own bags. But Nascar still had the roar of the engines which generally blocked out crowd noise anyhow. Yet when the engines stopped, it was eerie silence.

You can expect to be seeing a lot of “Air Fives” in upcoming sports events.

Let the nicknaming begin. Joe seems out front with a name for DT Trump: “President Tweety.”

I’m calling the early stages of this global viral attack a panicdemic.

Escaped prisoners don’t use jet planes because they leave contrails.

The Answer:

The Great Gazoo was a cute little Green alien who appeared during the last season of the Flintstones. Gazoo was an outcast from his planet afar after he made the mistake of saying he had doomsday machine, which he would never use. But the closeminded authorities banned him to a spaceship which eventually crashed into prehistoric Earth. The character really didn’t catch on before the popular show ended forever, but somehow it thrills me today.

I’m ending Tids all this week with an eclectic bunch of songs that I have enjoyed for one reasons or another. This one I first heard at an out door memorial service for a wonderful young woman taken way too early by cancer. It played as butterflies were released over green preserved fields above the ocean wide.
