The sky isn’t falling

Today's Tids Issue 5,131

Sports is soothing:

What do they plant to grow seedless watermelons?

I believe a good rule of thumb for life credibility is not to requote anything from Twitter, Facebook or other social media outlets. It will just make you look smarter staying away from cyber gossip mongers. O, it’s ok to quote the tids though: credible, very credible.

While nobody was looking, the Boston Celtics became a very competitive team, and very exciting too.

Most days I make some amateur observer pronouncement about the stock markets. Yet lately I have been cutting to the chase finding the underlying culprit, regardless of the daily buy/sell motive, is Inflation. The Fed has started to fight it for sure, and more and more analysts have it as #1. But traders have to trade, meaning the markets will be jumbled for a while.

The worst page in the entire dictionary is disgraceful, disgusting, dishonest, and disingenuous.

The Question:

In what sport does the defense have the ball?

The Headlines:

--Markets Open Higher; New Jobless Claims Fall To New Low Of 187K; Inflation, Ukraine Still Prominent Drivers.

--NK Fires Banned Intercontinental Missile.

--Ukraine Attacks Russian Navy; Destroys Major Ship, Occupies Azov Port Facilities.

--US Announces Plans To Accept 100K Ukraine Refugees; US To Place Additional Sanctions On Key Russian Individuals, Hundreds of Entities And the Duma; $1 Billon In US Humanitarian Aid Going To Ukraine.

--NATO Estimates That 7-15,000 Russian Troops Have Been Killed.

--Newport RI Votes To Ban Partybikes And Unsupervised AirBnB And Oter Short Term Rentals.

Be decisive. Right or wrong, make a decision. Remember, the road is paved with flat squirrels.

Did you know that Cy Young in his late 30’s pitched 300 innings a year on two days' rest... In but a 90-game schedule? What do you think his opinion of sabermetrics would be?

Today is National Chocolate Covered Raisin Day. I much prefer Chocolate Covered Chocolate Day.

One thing over the years that we know for sure is that the environmentalists have always looked for higher energy prices so that the much higher cost of inefficient alternative energy wouldn't seem so outrageous.

My girlfriend told me to take a spider out instead of killing it. We went and had some drinks. Cool guy. Wants to be a lawyer.

I guess Trump’s tax returns are still being audited because he is now seeking courts ot block congresses request for them. Someday I know I’ll see in Netflix. “Trumps Tax Returns: The Movie.

George Carlins Asks: What should you do when you see an endangered animal eating an endangered plant?

People will be complaining that it will be 30 degrees on Monday. It’s March its always cold in March. The ocean here is still 42 degrees. How come people who have lived in the same climate all their years on earth don’t understand that. Is it because with the computer age people think you can photoshop anything

A local radio host calls the woke progressives. The “Whackadoos” I like that.

To some people everything is racist. Which basically says there is little or no truth in the majority of racist accusations.

The “Whackadoos up in the RI Statehouse when to eliminate single family home zoning so they can plunk down multifamily tenement style housing in their quiet midst. They call it a move to affordable housing. But there is a difference between housing and homes.

There is just too much outrage anymore over basically nothing.

The boy who cried wolf and the sky is falling chicken are everywhere. and I’m not listening.

The Answer:

Baseball is the sport where the defense has the ball.

Been a busy day, but I finally got here.

See you tomorrow everybody
