How innocuous turns dangerous:

Today's Tids Issue 5,198

I can't imagine:

The day lilies are blooming against stone walls and wild in rolling fields. And that is always good time around here.

It’s going to be very hard to understand what the truth is in the coming months as the Repubs and Dems fight for survival int November

The Ukraine war will prevail probably for along long time primarily because there is so little common sense in ego driven Russia. And too many people will just see it as background noise.

There are no possible panaceas when humans are part of the equation.

A woman in labor suddenly shouted, “Shouldn’t! Wouldn’t! Couldn’t! Didn’t! Can’t!” “Don’t worry,” said the doc. “Those are just contractions.”

The Question:

A couple of riddles for you to solve: What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month? What English word has three consecutive double letters?

The NBA Draft was a big nothing.

Internet news and sports media try to move you into watching a video of a talking head delivering the story. I always look for the written story which is much faster way to get the info than listening, and also to dismiss or accept or investigate further.

Did you hear about the actor who fell through the floorboards?

He was just going through a stage.

Shehei Ohtani is one great baseball player and a very exciting athlete to watch. Observers say his next contract could be $50 million a Year. And politicians will call for $20 min wages so the lower side of the economy can keep up. How crazy is that.

You have to watch out for the minimum wage advocates. The way some are thinking takes on the appearance of redistribution of wealth, instead of a stronger wage. Add to that growing acceptance of millionaire taxes by several states, and we see definitely a gnawing at the roots of a great civilization.

It was nice to see the Bloodhound win the prestigious Westminster show. Bloodhounds and Basset hounds have always tickled my heart. They are both affectionate and gentle, but the Bloodhound is said to be far more intelligent than the b\Bassett hound especially when it comes to obedience training. I think a Basset and I would get along fine.

The Liz Cheney thing represents an interesting aspect of modern politics. She is no less a repub because she is against the antics of Donald Trump but she is considered a far less Conservative for her current stance on Trump. One of the more confusing aspects of modern politics has been the tying of the Conservative and Liberal labels to parties.

Lately there has been a rush to exchange carpeted homes to hardwood flooring homes. It maybe fashionable, but it is not so hot for your phone when you drop it.

There is no chance I will see the new movie about Elvis.

The Answer:

There is no “R” in the beginning or end of March or April. And the answer to the second one is Bookkeeper.

Why did the chicken go to the séance?

To get to the other side.

Have a great weekend, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!
