Why do we make life so confusing.

Today's Tids Issue 5,237

Innovation Retrogression:

Thursday is usually a scurrying Tids. I'm always in a rush. And sometimes it’s the best of the week because I don’t dwell on convoluted theories. Most things can be said quite simply, and almost always said better that way. Occasionally I make the cut.

I heard of a new invention. Some guy is inventing boardgames where people and families can play around a table. You know, like not everybody sitting in a corner playing alone on a phone. Board games may be hot for Christmas. It’s just a gross til Christmas – 144 days!

And, another big USA basic institution of civilized people that should not be federal, but state controlled, is education. The bigger the bureaucracy grows the more the kids lose.

The Question:

What proud USA Institution had its beginning 232 years ago today? Bonus: Who is Arthur Bremmer?

Poets can write about love forever, especially the kind of love that lasts forever.

A fire Hydrant has H3 2O in the inside and K9P on the outside. OMG, that was bad.

We live in amazing times, and everybody wonders what is wrong.

Today is National Chocolate Cookie Day! More insulin please.

I’m drawn to any food recipe that demands bathing in butter

Did you hear about the cheese factory that exploded in France? There was nothing left but de Brie. (Oldie but Goodie)

I don’t like the new exert opinion trend about watching out for nuclear threat.

Underlying all of the political and emotional combustion over the abortion issue, there are still a lot of people wo don’t understand why there are no rights for the babies who never see the light of day.

There just seemed to be more knights during the dark ages.

One commercial on TV that I never tire of is, Don’t Text and drive.

The Answer:

The US Coast Guard Began its proud Journey 232 years ago today. I could be a member of eth Coast Guard and be proud of it. Bonus: Arthur Bremmer was the guy who attempted to murder Alabama’s George Wallace.

There is one good thing about August. Congress generally goes on recess. Your money is safe. Smile!!
