Morphing gently

Today's Tids Issue 5,154

Paper bags are nice:

In our new world of technology]

Do we lose our innocent frivolity.

Where we’d be open and carefree.

And not besmirch even an enemy

Where we might find a halfway point

And not pick a fight in every joint

Not allow anger to turn faces red

But jointly laugh over comments said.

I preferred being happily delirious

And not taking so much so serious.

Today is National Pretzel Day! Feeling a little salty? Want to get twisted?

There's a lot of both consternation and elation over the Musk ownership of Twitter. I don’t use it and the only thing I know about it is that it spreads really bad opinions and misinformation really, really fast. And that it can hurt people who don’t deserve to be hurt.

As one blade of grass said to another blade of grass about the lack of rain, “I guess we’ll just haveto make dew.”

The Question:

Name the Top Ten All-Time Funniest TV Comedies.

There is a little song I listen to early that feels like it is saying morning is really a happy place! So, don’t lose a second of it. Wake up and enjoy the bets tie of day before the encumbrances begin to flow. The tune is “First Light” by Peter Calandra,

How come the global leaders racing towards nuclear dominance have signs of mental disturbances. Nukes can be safe. It's the people who are dangerous.

Black bears are waking up from their winter snooze and are hungry. Just hope they don't spot you first before a bird feeder.

I have this Idea for a novel that I should start writing. The problem is that is so much about happiness that it may not be believable.

Fans of the Streaming super show Ozark are pacing faster than usual this week waiting for the final seven episodes of their favorite and very popular show.  Will the Byrdes escape unscathed? Do they deserve to escape unscathed? There are a lot of mixed opinions about this show of a couple who seemed to be innocently drawn into a web only to create their own more dangerous web.

Q. Why can't you run through a campground? A. You can only ran, because it's past tents.

The Answer:

Ok, let's start with #20 and go to # 1. “Nathan For Your” (Comedy Central) is #20 and then the great “Taxi”. Next are “Review”, “Party Down”, “Freaks and Geeks”, “I love Lucy”, “Friends”, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and at #11, “Better Things”. Number 10 is “The Dick Van Dyke Show” followed by “Atlanta”, “The Golden Girls”, “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”, “Parks and Recreation” “30 Rock”, and at #4, “Veep”. Now on the countdown to one, we have at #3, Seinfeld” and the #2 “News Radio”. Number One funniest is “Cheers”. What happened to Jack Benny and Burns and Allen? Looks like I have a lot of streaming catchup to do. Of note, The funny Honey Mooners was #65. Others are All in the Family at #33, M*A*S*H at 32, Bob Newhart at #28 and Frazier at #24.

An old Tibetan Proverb: “The secret to living longer is to eat half, walk double, laugh triple and love without measure.”
