Uh-Oh.

Today's Tids Issue 5,158

Never the twain...:

Here we go again – 24/7 news coverage and unrelenting protests about abortion. A stare down between two unmovable sides. Revisiting the issue that began to divide America. It is the issue that created the venom. It is the true “my way or the highway” issue in America. God help us.

Something funny must have happened yesterday.

We have just entered the latest mini era of not watching your stock portfolio. Basically, the market today is the downward nominal thing occasionally interrupted by the blips of excitement or despair.

Good news! Today is National Lumpy Rug Day” I have always worried about lumpy rugs, and now they have their day to lay around.

The Question:

The play “The Fantastiks” was alive and well on the NYC stage for 42 years. What was its most famous song? Bonus: Who are considered the best all time Jockeys.

The Headlines:

--Stocks Meandering Awaiting Fed Action.

--SC Abortion Opinion Draft Leaked.

--Putin To Undergo Cancer Surgery; Power Temporarily Transferred To FSB Chief Nickolai Petrushev.

--Eyes Turn To Ohio And Indiana Primaries.

The big issue associated with the now reignited Abortion war is that fact that the sanctity of the court was broken and somebody inside who was trusted leaked the draft opinion, which was not yet settled. This idea that there is nothing sacred in America anymore is not good for reasonable civilizations.

If you can stop yourself from forming an emotional bond with your onions, you probably won’t cry when cutting them.

The Duchess of Sussex got the Royal ax this week, and it wasn’t in the Tower of London. Netflix shut down Meghan's “Pearl” project in a cost cutting effort. Welcome to the real world

The upshot of the Abortion exposure is that if that is what the decision becomes, the determination of legal abortion laws will be passed down to the states where it should be.

Probably the biggest effect of this Abortion document leak bruhaha is that it will give Dems something to rally around and perhaps a chance at retaining the majority.

Isn’t kind of sad to think that the fate of one of the great nations in history rests upon whether babies live or die.

One armed men shop at secondhand stores.

So, if you are abetting person you probably have your papers strewn about trying to pick the winner. A lot of people just have fun playing family games picking winners. Zandon at 3-1 is the current favorite. Close behind at 3.5-1 is Epicenter. Then we have Messier at 8-1, Mo Donegal and White Abarrio at 10-1 and Taiba 12-1. There are five at 20-1 and 9 at 2 30-1

Today is National Teacher Appreceiation Day. My grandmother was a teacher in the 1890’s and I never had any opportunites to appreciate her. So, I will today.

The Answer:

The song that everybody felt as special was “Try to Remember”. Bonus: I have read six lists, and the consensus seems to say these are the top ten: Number 10 is Sir Gordon Richards and going up we have Frank Dettori, Mike E. Smith, Sir Anthony (Tony) Peter McCoy, John Valasquez, Eddie Arcaro, Lester Piggott, Willie Shoemaker Lafite Pincay Jr and at #1 Russell Baze.

Try to remember, when we were mellow, , and we had dreams to follow. Follow, follow, follow.
