Everybody does it.

Today's Tids Issue 5,258

Fire or Daisies:

I see where the right side of Repubs are calling for McCarthy’s scalp because he is talking compromise in the Debt deal. That makes the right Repubs no different than the lefty loonies who want to turn off petroleum faucet in a day and half. Evolution works. And it would work fine now if we could now use this debt deal to establish a path towards reduced spending over time without bringing down the economy to satisfy a couple old mules irritating brays.

Like, the Left wants to get rid of gas stoves. We have had electric stoves for close to a century, and they s till aren't better than Gas stoves. Political activism makes people insane

179 years ago today, Sam Morse said, “What hath God wrought” as he began the first ever telegraphs message. What would he be saying if he saw the effects of the distant cousin social media Internet today? “Shoot me”? BTW, Gov DeSantis is going to announce today on Twitter. What a waste. So, he can now say he is the first ever to do that, but what of reaching the people who think twitter is Satan.

One of the great things about early morning Doctor appointment is that I can usually find one good Tidlet in a 2-year-old magazine.

Some composers have an ability to write music that just seems to have inability ot squeeze the most intense, moving emotions out of a few notes. Isn’t that just the greatest thing?

I called a suicide hotline in Iran. They asked if I could drive a truck.

The Question:

What are Bob Dylan’s top five songs?

The Headlines:

--Market Slumps Towards Dumpster as Repubs Send Up Warning Signs To McCarthy; McCarthy Spoz: “Talks are Off Until We See Fundamental Change from White House.

--DeSantis Launching Campaign To Beat Trump; Says He Has $200 Million.

--US State Department Distances Itself Form Ukraine Incursion into Russia.

--Monster Typhoon Devastates Guam.

Last night in case you missed it, the right singer won The Voice. There were a lot of people who thought classic country singer Grace West would be voted tops by loyal country fans as honor to the retiring Balke. But, Gina Miles was just too good to be denied, and and really stood out as the season progressed. The rest of tje top five were D. Smooth, the Sorell and Noivas. I thought the CLo Green show opening medley was a lot of fun. The best moment of the show for me.

Did you see where Michael Jordan just bought a Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster? It costs $3 Million...for a freaking car. But it’s ok because it has a top speed of 311 miles per hour. Hey great idea -- Build a car that can travel 230 mph faster than the legal limit for most highways. But here’s the warning for you: Hennessey sold out its first 24 cars. It only plans to build 30 a year, so get your order in now. I think Ill lay off for now. It may punish my retirement package a bit.

How come Repubs make it hard for their candidates to get elected

Today I watched a video that helped me understand how to write Handel's great “Zadok the Priest” I think I’ll have to find a new career. But I will keep on listening.

If I got 50 cents for every failed math exam, I’d have $ 6.30 now

Stevie Nicks was always better singing quietly on a stage, moving around the stage way she moved around than any of today's singers who needed the comfort of blazing lights, fires and giant speakers.

Think of the huge egos of little people who think they can change climate. And then a volcano erupts just as they have been erupting for millions of years. Meanwhile, we can't use straws.

A good reader notes that, “This Build Back Better thing must be waiting for building permits”.

The Answer:

I personally would say, Like a rolling stone, Blowing in the wind, Mr. Tambourine Man, If not for you, Turn, Turn Turn, A music expert says the top 50 Dylan tunes would begin with, Like a Rolling Stone, Vision of Joanna, Idiot Wind, Subterranean Home Sick Bleus a nd Desolation Row.

But I do enjoy “Like a rollng Stone. How much further to I have to roll? How much moss have I picked up along the way? I don’t feel like stopping yet.
