For the fully groan.

Today;' Tids Issue 5,256

And, we Remember:

Aah, the middle of May

When every painted scene

Is leafy green.

With days still brisk

Not in overheated lethargy.

Yet we feel the warmth

As the emerging sun

Races towards summer’s apogee.

Ah May,

Aah, the flowering month of May.

From the sublime to the ridiculous: Why do people think it is ok to sue auto manufacturers because some thug breaks in and steals your car?

AP/Norc Poll: _2/3’s of Americans are seriously concerned about the dire economic consequences from a failure to raise the debt limit. 6 in 10 Americans want “any increase in debt limit to be coupled with agreed upon terms for reducing the budget deficit. Yes, I think a lot of Americans are getting real tired of thoughtless addictive spending by politicians – or should we call it, buy8ng votes with our taxes and future economic stability. Oh yeah, and the third of Americans not concerned about the consequences of the debt mess are too busy being worried about the Kardashians and Prince Harry. But that is a growing part of our national malaise.

Butterflies just aren’t what they used to be.

The Question:

Before streaming took over, FX used to be my go-to channel for great continuous drama. Name the Top Ten All Time Best FX series.

The Headlines:

--Growing Confidence for Debt Limit Deal Has Stocks Opening Higher; John Deere Reports Strong Earnings and Order Bookings for Precision Farming Equipment.

--Zelensky Expected to Show Up at G7 to Ask for More Support.\

Prince Harry wanted to get out from under the Monarchy spotlight and now he and his wife have become just another celebrity couple joke.

Speaking of Celebrity, this area is all atwitter as Taylor Swift will be driving form her RI seaside shack up to the Patriots Gillette Stadium to sing and romp before 200,000 people. 200,00 people who had to practically jump through hoops to be there. I have never been ableto compute in my mind the idea of inconvenience at that level. Do not drive on Route 1 today, folks.

Hell, we can barely find that many people to vote around here.

Due to constant speeding boats, manatees had trouble sleeping, so they sought out a no wake s zone! With apologies to Jumble for my larcenous act

So far the Eastern NBA Championship Series is showing us a soft and happy-go-lucky Celtics team against a tough and Billy Business Miami team. And Jimmy Butler is the best player on the floor, despite Jason Tatum's glorious talents.

Vin Diesel starts his day with Breakfast and Breakfurious.

The reparations drumbeat gets louder. A Tampa City Councilman proposes that a $3 Million payment per non-Hispanic black person would be about right. That would be a total national payment of $120,000,000,000,000 or four times the current national debt. But it would alleviate the pressure to increase taxes on the super-rich. If you get my drift.

Smaller babies may be delivered by stork but the heavier ones need a crane.

I think a lot about friends, those of yore and now. And I think that I am even more sensitive now about how important each great friendship is now than, perhaps as a kid, when you went outside, and your pals were standing there ready to go.

If I didn’t have to take so long editing out typos, I'd have more time to watch more of The Price is Right. Responsibility is tough.

It is a good weekend for Sports fans. The Preakness is on Saturday, and the PGA Championship will be riveting today through Sunday. And those of us in Boston, Miami, Denver and LA will enjoy key NBA playoff games.

The Odds-on Favorite in the Preakness is Derby winner Mage. at 8-5. Next is First Mission 5-2, National Treasure 3 4-1, Blazing Sevens 6-1, Red Route One 10-1, Perform 15-1, Coffee with Chris 20-1 and Chase the Chaos 50-1. Around here there will be some money on Coffee with Chris as a local guy is an owner

After opening day for the PGA, number’s One and Two were LIV players DeChamblis and Dustin. And one of my favorites Jason Day was way down at the bottom after the euphoria of his big win last week.

After eating alphabet soup, you have a vowel movement.

The Answer:

#1 is, It's always Sunny in Philadelphia. Next is the great Justified which is followed by Dear Mama, Fargo, The Americans, Sons of Anarchy, The Shield, What We do in the Shadows, American Horror Story, Atlanta and Archer. A couple of those, Justified, Fargo and The Americans, are my all-time favorites anywhere.

Have a great weekend, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
