Extreme pain.

Today's Tids Issue 5,396

Merriment:

Jingle Bells, jingle all the way. Oh what fun it is to say, Happy December today. And what a beautiful December morning it is to say hello, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!. To remember all that’s great about December, except of course, December 7 when we hear once again the drone of Japan planes waking the quiet skies of a Sunday morning. Strafing innocents on their way to church. I always have to stop and think about this for a few seconds each year as December arrives. Yet, December signals a rebirth. And laughter and happiness; fires cracking fireplaces; visions of snowmen and white fluffy powder as we ski and sled and make angels with wings that let us fly. And I love that kids are wide eyed and waiting for jolly old Santa. I still believe in the magic of Santa. The idea that there is some magnanimous individual out there who cares about every single person on this earth.

The least creative person in history is the person who thought to name it, ”Fireplace”.

I tried watching that debate last night between Newsome and DeSantis. But debates are becoming a drain on my patience with humanity. -- two potential leaders of teh free world calling each other “Liars”, arguing like school kids on a playground. “So’s your old.” man

What a surprise – Israel returned to military action in Gaza within minutes of the Cease Fire expiring.

It wouldn’t have been wright if Ford had invented the airplane.

The Question:

What are five names for Santa Claus?

The Headlines:

--Stocks in Positive Territory at Noon in East; Markets Strengthen up to Closing; Powell Says Premature to Say Hikes are Over.

--Sandra Day O’Conner ,first woman on SC, dead at 93.

--Repubs Lop Off George Santos.

--Fed Judge Rules that Trump would be Libel for Civils Suits as a Result of his J6 Actions.

--Israel Resumes Combat Strikes Minutes After Cease Fire Terminates.

If the social media business were to die, the world would be a better place.

George Santos in his defense says that ousting him would set a bad precedent. Yes it would, for liars and bad actors who think they can scam their way into congress and get away with it.

TV Actress Julianna Margolies tells college kids using "they/them" pronouns who've been marching in solidarity with Hamas, that they'd be the first to be "beheaded" if they were ever in Gaza.

There is a real world out there and then there are campuses.

What's the best way to make a hotdog stand? Take away its chair.

Finally, a great Saturday slate of College Games with meaning: Georga –Alabama, Washington-Oregon, Texas-Oklahoma State, Michigan-Iowa and perhaps Florida State –Louisville. My evil heart says that results of these games could cause major agita for NCAAF mahoffs, And America would be happy. Think about wins by Texas and Alabama, for instance.

If you manage to find the right hill around here, and a super black night, you maybe be able to see the dancing lights of the extreme northern skies.

Aging men have to decide what is better, hunched over backs that would permit looking down to prevent tripping. or tripping happily and enjoying it but always rebounding with a straight back. Bad posture makes you look old but your arm in a sling makes you look adventurous. Think of the stories you could tell.

I call my girlfriend Google. She has everything I'm looking for.

I watched the new Prime series Jack Reacher last night. It is a little convoluted and a lot over the top, but I watched every minute of it.

A smart tax accountant says Patriots Owner Bob Kraft's son Jonathin probably likes the way the team's valuation is slipping because it will reduce his estate tax when pop goes up to the great massage parlor in the sky. There’s always something.

Word of the day, “Moribund”: No longer effective and about to come to an end completely; In a bad position, dying. The new England Patriots come to mind. But I’ll be there with them through thick or thin.

Birders are removing people’s names as part of bird names just in case the person did something bad in his or her past.

I read alot about schools adding all kinds of social programs, but I don't see much that says the kids are getting what schools are there for, Knowledge.

I’m pretty much against extremes. But unfortunately, a growing bunch of people consider laws as extremes. To many people, “Right and wrong" are considered as extremes.

The Answer:

Well, we have Kris Kringle, Saint Nick, Saint Nicholas, Pere Noel, Father Christmas, and every country over the world has a Santa name. Santa has been around for a while, I fact, Christopher Columbus named a port in Haiti, “Saint Nicholas”

Have a great weekend, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y!!
