It’s pickin’ Time! Last week we came back with a solid 11-3 score improving our record to 91-40-1 (70%). The meaningful, tough pickin’ games are Indy-Tenn, Houston-Cleve, Phily-NYG, LAC-Miami, Cinn-Pitt and Seattle LAR,. I’d like to have my Pats- Ravens game in that mix. It would have been last year, but now-a-days, I’m not so sure. Good game tonight where Indy who has surprised meets Tenn who started strong and is flopping a bit now. But I’m going Tenn. Cleveland may be without key players but Houston still has a great QB. I’m picking them Now Philly and the NY Giants have poor records at best, but believe it or not, this game is for first place in the NFC East! Double Yikes! I go Philly. The Chargers need a win, but what team is playing better than Miami. I see Dolphins swimming. Pitt should beat Cinncy, who are becoming the new darling in the NFL neighborhood, will out up fight but lose to Pitt. Seattle showed its flaws. The Rms showed their flaws earlier in the season. I pick the Rams.
For the rest I’m picking the Ravens over my Beloveds, TB over Carolina, Detroit over Washington, GB over Jax, Las Vegas over Denver, New Orleans over San Fran and Minn over da Bears.
If anybody thinks the USA is getting better consider that the Mayor of Jersey City thinks a good stable growth economy is making his town the center for Pot Smoking tourism. Remember how we used create and supply the machinery of the world? Now, it’s just smoke and mirrors.
Big down town commercial real estate owners are concerned that as more people and companies get used to working from home, thus les need for expensive corporate towers, But alas, even more concerning about work from home is the potential or a drastic drop in business travel as execs deal with customers on line. People in Providence RI are wondering why digital learning isn’t going so well. Do they remember that a year ago the angst was about failing schools with in class learning? Let’s see you kids who didn’t pay attention under the gaze of a teacher were now given the freedom to learn on their own at home via Zoom et. al., probably with two parents working, and we all Expect that will induce them to entirely change habits. Yup, thet’s work.

Armistice Day was the original name for eth 11/11 holiday which was the date of the end of need of the war of all wars, WWI. But it was changed to celebrate the bravery of all veterans. Bonus: Eve Arden was one of the funniest comedic actors ever, and she had everybody laughing out loud on Our Miss Brooks. She also won a best supporting Oscar for Mildred Pierce. She was in 64 films and had rolls in 38 TV programs over her career. Many will also remember her a Principal McGee In Grease 1 and 2.
Are people born with photographic memories, or does it take time to develop? People with digital cameras will never understand that joke.
