Protests descending.

Today's Tids Issue 4,755

Fun Rising:

I would say that Amy B’s session in the senate looks more like a confrontation than a confirmation proceeding.

What has become real tedious in the USA, are these delusional anti Columbus pretest exercises. These have jumped the shark filled waters of the Caribbean.

Ornithology News:

It is a well know fact that crows, one of nature’s smartest avians, is highly attracted Cheetos. While they don’t enjoy the Orange dust marring their shiny ebony coats, they just can’t resist the crunch and deep unique flavor. Just in case to you are interested in making friends with crow.

This world is full of small interesting facts that are indeed knowledge you can use.

This week we begin earnings season. One negative aspect of the coming three or so weeks is that there is a possibility that the good earnings news has already been built into the recent positive rise in stock prices.

The Question:

What are the five oldest bars in the USA? Bonus: Who was Agrippina?

Surprise! We got Tuesday Night football! It should be a very good game between two undefeated teams, the solid Buffalo Bills and the Tennessee Titans.

Yesterday, I heard that CNN tuned out of the Barrett hearings. They apparetly got slammed their listeners who rely on this channel for their news. It is almost as if CNN was afraid than people would see ACB as a pretty great, sinecure, honest capable judge and wonder what the ruckus was about.

Locally, Anti-Christopher protesters are renting U-Haul trucks to block the very crowded Interstate Rt 95. They should call them U-Hault. What bunch of dolts.

My idea of Gourmet eating is adding Oyster crackers to my Chowdah.

If you go back to the past you’ll probably find quotes from every politician that are entirely in conflict with what they are saying go today. I think we need a ”What Politicians Said” app.

BTW, my regular four year gripe is why companies with products come under FCC enforcement gun for marginal false advertising, while politicos who hold the fate of a nation in their little hands  always get a pass from the same Big Gov institution even when grievously lying.

I find myself getting a lot of exercise in super markets where I have to walk the length of a one way aisle and to get products and then up and down another one way aisle or two to get another product.

The Answer

Some people will enjoy taken about Agrippina in bars – anything to keep the brewskis coming. The five oldest Bars in the USA are, “The White Horse Tavern - 1673, Newport RI; The Board Axe Tavern - 1681, Ambler Pa; Barnsboro Inn - 1720, Sewell NJ; Jessop’s Tavern - 1724, New Castle De; Logan Inn - 1727, New Hope Pa; Red Fox Inn - 1728, Middleburg Va; Mike’s York Street Bar & Grill -1724, Warminster Pa; New Boston Inn  - 1737, Sandisfield Ma; Bittinghams – 1743, Lafayette Hill, Pa; The Blue Bell Inn – 1743, Blue Bell Pa. Bonus: Julia Agrippina AKA, “Agrippina the Younger” was a most powerful Roman empress, a most prominent and effective woman in the Julio-Claudian dynasty. She was the granddaughter of the first Roman emperor Augustus, sister of the rascal emperor Caligua, niece and fourth wife (Whoops) of Claudius and Mother of Nero. She was considered a beautiful and reputable woman, but was ruthless, violent, ambitious and domineering. It is noted by historians that she was the defacto ruler of Rome when her son Nero was eth Emperor. But, she maybe best known for poisoning her Husband Claudius. She was exceuted on the order of her son Nero. Bye mom, let me play a tune for you on my violin.

I always like a good fiddle. I think its time for the Orange Blossom Express:
