Christmas is still Christmas.

Today's Tids the Season Issue 4,800

Covid, Schmovid:

Well, it’s a week before Christmas day.  I think people are still trying to figure out how to stay heathy without interrupting what’s so important in life – love of family and friends. That is the gift of Christmas. And somehow, I think we’ll all find a way to make it work. Maybe we’ll all get smiley faces emails and texts this year, and be damn happy with it. Cause we know what it means. We all love each other just the same even if we miss seeing you.

It’s time to look for more promises. Covid vaccines are here. And the Stimulus package is almost here. So, the stock markets are happy except for one thing. The hope that they would be where they are now has been the impetus for much of the runup. Some aspects of the economy that were predicted to become a problem are becoming that problem. So, what can we look for six months from now keep this market steaming thought January. The Repubs getting the Georgia Senate seat would be one of them.

I like doctors who when asked about foods that are good or bad for people answer first by saying it is really on a case-by-case basis.

The Question:

Quick, what are the original eight reindeer names? What do you think is the personality trait for each name? Bonus: Are Santa’s reindeer male or female or a mixture of both.

The Headlines:

--Markets Pull Way Back; Nancy And Mitch Not exactly Seeing Eye To Eye.

--Google Anti-trust Case Would Not See A Trial Until 2023.

--Bernie Thinks Joe Should be Doing More To Tout Progressive Policies.

--Pence And Wife Get Vaccine Injection Ob TV This Morning.

--SC Throws Out Challenge To Trump’s Plan To Exclude Illegal Aliens From Census Count.

--Stimulus Checks From New Package Expected To Go To same Income Level Groups.

Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are mainly similar built on Messenger RNA Technology. This means the vaccines are designed to teach cells to make protein that prompts an immune response. The big difference is that Pfizer must be stored at -94 degrees and Moderna only at -4 degrees, obviously making Moderna easier to transport. The only other differences are that Pfizer suggests for people 15 and older and Moderna says 18 and older. For ten time between shots, Pfizer says 21 days and Moderna 28. The people will probably not be able to pick one over the other. Nor will the average person be able to tell the difference when receiving one.

The media goes along with Democratic operatives painting Trump negatively as the “Pardon President”. but he has pardoned the fewest in 100 years. Where are the fact checkers.

I’m thinking that the big entertainment producers must pay Spell-Checker to get the spelling of the names of their unknown stars correct. It does a good job of that, but as you may know from reading this mess, it showed it’s political bias by never offering a capital “T” option for trump.

I have a hunch that more cookies have been baked in homes this season than any other since the times baking at home was part of daily life. It’s like a lot of people are relearning homelife all over again.

This just in: Tom Cruise (58) is dating Mission Impossible co-star Hayley Atwell (38). Hmm. Doesn’t affect me in the least.

Caffein withdrawal is painful and makes you irritable and more. Personally, I like caffeine. So I see no reason to stop feign good in the morning.

The Mandalorian will be the next big hot movie. Even on small screens in living rooms.

The Answer:

The eight original reindeer are Dasher Dancer, Prancer, Comet and Cupid, Donner and Blitzen and Vixen. By the way, Donner and Blitzen are from Dutch words for thunder and Lightning. Their persalt traits are “loud and “Fast as a bolt”. Dasher is “Speedy”, Dancer is “Completely Extroverted”, Prancer is a “Bit vain but affectionate”, Vixen is “Slightly Tricky, Comet is “Handsome and easy going”, Cupid is “Very affectionate” Bonus: While “Twas the Night before Christmas” seems to indicate they were all male they are probably female because males lose their antlers in Winter.

With this big snowstorm, I can’t tell whether it is Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. And it’s ruining my breakfast schedule.
