Christmas morning in the year of the Plague

Today's Tids thee season Issue 4,805

Love Christmas:

Well, It’s the day:

When adults and children alike feel the glee

As they run down to their green needled tree.

Where eyes spy piles upon piles of presents.

But first stop to wish good tidings to all whence

Caring and love and kindness may emanate.

The real reason this day is always so great.

And every year I alwsy have to come back to Linus who to me just says the absolutely right words so perfectly. You know, the little child shall lead them thing.

"I guess you were right, Linus. I shouldn't have picked this

little tree," said Charlie Brown. "Everything I do turns into

a disaster. I guess I don't really know what Christmas is

all about. Isn't there anyone who knows what Christmas

is all about?"

"Sure, Charlie Brown, I can tell you what Christmas is all about,"

said Linus. [Linus walks to center stage.]

"Lights, please."

“And there were in the same country shepherds abiding

in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them,

and the glory of the Lord shone round about them:

and they were sore afraid.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold,

I bring you good tidings of great joy,

which shall be to all people.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour,

which is Christ the Lord.

The True Meaning of Christmas (recited by Linus)

And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe

wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the

heavenly host praising God, and saying,

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace,

good will toward men.’

[Linus picks up his blanket and shuffles off-stage.]

We wish you a Merry Christmas – The Management
