Backup to patch.

Today's Tids Issue 5,607

I like a good anthem:

Happy Labor Day E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y! Another great day not to travel. I remember when Labor Day was the end of summer and people spent the days saying good-byes, closing up cottages and packing away summer toys for the winter. But ow Labor Day seems to signal the beginning of another tourist crammed season, Pumpkin Spice days. So, I hop0e you all enjoy a good family cook-out and that your propane tank lasts until the last burger is burnt.

Well, that was a nice prerecorded, well packaged delated hard-nosed “Interview” with Prez candidates and sidekick devoid of Journalistic heroism and believabilityDid the DNC pay CNN to air that commercial

The world is full of lies and deception: The sign on the door said "Ladies" but there was just a toilet.

The Question:

When was the first Labor Day and who started it all.

The Headlines:

--Stocks Pop as PCE Hits Mark.

--Georgis Election Workers Who Won $148 Million Judgement against Guiliani, Now Suing to take his Personal Assets.

--Brazilian Judge Rules to Suspend “X” in Country.

--Ukraine Asks Mongolia to Arrest Putin when He Enters Country for Meeting Next Week; Mongolia is the first International Criminal Court Member Country He will Visit.

Do you think that The K is employing the old Clinton Strategy of cherry-picking best Repub ideas   as their owns,

You can sell Americans anything, and this election unfortunately may prove that

I'm going to meet a great old friend today. Life doesn't get any better than that.

Talk about American excess, new reports coming out say that the new trend is Brides and Grooms requiring wedding guests to pay to attend the wedding to offset the enormous costs of the one-day affairs-- up as high as $450 per guest I've heard. Here ls an axiom to consider: Love doesn’t need a multi thousand-dollar party to close the deal. It used to be the grass is greener. Now it's, the weddings are bigger.

There was a huge upset last night at US Open tennis when Carlos Alcarez went down early to a relative unknown -- 75th ranked Botic van de Zandschulp. But tournaments are always better with surprises. But there may be no surprise at the FedEx Golf championship as Scottie Scheffler ended yesterday 7 strokes ahead and has maintained his dominance again today.

I'm calling the Kam and Tim show, the Scramblers, because they're always running backwards to clarify misspeak, But nobody seems to care. On the other hand, Trump doesn’t go back to correct anything, he just repeats it.

I Really enjoyed last night watching the PBS presentation of the 1992 Freddy Mercury Tribute Concert in Wembly Stadium, -- just bunch of 80’s super rockers doing what they do best.

Tids Editorial Board Prediction: This weekend the News programs will spend an inordinate amount of time describing traffic jams and airline terminal havoc. Remember, you heard it here first. We still haven't lost the old fastball.

The Answer:

The first Labor Day was on September 5, 1882 in NYC when 10,000 workers took unpaid leave to march through the streets of to demonstrate the power of the trade and labor organizations. It was the creaton of labor union leaders.

Have a great weekend, E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y

I'd never heard this before and I enjoyed it last night, so decided to play it again in the tids today. It’s not important at all except that I liked it.
